I'd certainly recommend that syphon too. It makes cleaning the tanks so much easier. No more buckets and mess 👍🏻 You recommended this a while ago James and that's when I ordered mine. Thank you 😊
I bought that water /gravel cleaner , changed the way I do it now and sooo much easier and better , no more buckets of water and climbing on chairs to fill tank up . I have a 180 litre so as u can imagine takes abit to do. Thanks for the heads up on this bit of kit would highly recommend to anyone x

James the food im feeding at the minute leaves like an oil slick on the water surface, been looking at the medikoi probiotic, would you recommend?, does it improve water quality aswell?

Try adding some crushed oyster shells in a mesh bag to your filter. It will raise your pH and kh hardness.
