Look at the teams above the clippers. If you take SGA, morant, sengun, Luka, LeBron out for 30 games Do they have more wins than the clippers WITHOUT Kawhi. The answer is no. This is the best team in the west with kawhi and I will die on that hill
dunn is our best defender against elite shorter guards like kyrie, ja, ant and brunson but djj is a bit better on taller guys like durant, tatum etc. dunn makes so much happen on defense but itll probably be djj for his size. i wanna see situational games where dunn starts but it probably wont happen cuz clippers want continuity and consistency with their lineup
Using Norm as a microwave off the bench would hurt the starters more than it would help the bench. Harden with both Kawhi and Norm occupying the corners would give him a lot of easy paint points that are not there when Norm is the only reliable 3pt threat on the court as long as Miller and Bones are not playing meaningful minutes *with Harden.*
Can’t lie a Robert Williams’s/ t camara trade would be nice, Larry nance would be good trade target, Maybe dunate exum, Jose alverado, just all some good targets, still like to see Trenton flowers get minutes

Tye Lue likes his 9 man rotation. It will be interesting to see who is left out. My guess is Mann and Bamba are the odd mans out as he likes to play small anyways with batum. So bamba I don’t see him playing unless he starts hitting that 3

In general i am afraid kawhi could affect the chemistry, pace and make our offense more stagnant. Also i have doubts on kahwi defensive efforts and knee stress with teams (okc, memphis) that runs a lot, so I probably would keep harden-dunn-norm-djj-zu in that matchups and move kawhi to the second unit to preserve him and increase 2nd unit firepower. Against slower or taller teams i would go with harden-norm-djj-kawhi-zu as starting unit. I think we definitely need to test kai or get a solid backup center (e.g. trading bones, mann or amir and pj).
Definitely agree, my idea was mainly for the regular season to preserve kawhi for the playoff/playin and prevent the knee inflammation. Lets see what the organization have in mind for the rest of the season...

I have no issue bringing powell off the bench, stagger his minutes with Kawi so he gets more shots. Late in game I'd put both of them in of course.
