Before the song there isn't much talk. It was the evening of Marius Bear's life and songs. Just before that they talked about his father passing away recently and everyone was crying or sad. It was a moment that touched us all deeply and I knew I had to sing and didn't feel ready. I felt like thrown into something. Cachita: And then something magic happened. The weight and the mourning were transformed into something beautiful. Nemo: I'm happy that it turned into a beautiful moment. Marius Bear: It was beautiful because Nemo didn't change the mood of the song but with the drum and bass the song got kicked in the ass (meaning became stronger). Nemo is just an incredibly talented person.
I think this season of "Sing my song" is one of the best things I ever saw on TV. Every episode was deep and real and touching and raw. Cachita and Marc Sway talked about how it is to have immigrants as mothers. Dodo was born in Kenya spent the first 5 years of his life in Ivory Coast. Then his father past away and his mother came to Switzerland. Marc just recently lost his brother, Marius his father. Eliane is a very warm and deep person. She and Dodo just ended a long partnership. Nemo wasn't officially out as non-binary when the show was taped but they already talk about. Nemo has been away from public for some years and it was kind of a welcome back. Vincent Gross is a German Schlager singer (the music style is German Schlager, not Vincent). It's something young people mock and he talked about how that is hurtful. He also talked about being in love with someone who just wants you as a friend. And Vincent is just a great guy. Humble, funny. At one point Marc Sway even talked about how it was hard to make enough money to feed a family at the beginnings. And especially Dodo, Marius and Cachita joined in. Nemo and Vincent were so young that they still lived with their parents. Eliane still has a part time job in marketing. They cried and laughed and got angry together. There was so much respect for each other. And all of them are talented artists in their genre. They all share a true passion for music. And the band is incredible.
