Oh Wow, it has been so long since the last time you uploaded a video, I am glad to see that you are back, I remember watching your videos on Mirage Fix and Lancer Fix. Video quality is really good. Glad to see you back.
Thanks! Man, I thought it would be cheaper to let someone weld the parts for me, but nope. I wish I had bought the aluminum welding tools and weld the parts myself instead.
@@DarkDragonWing This is exactly how I ended up getting another welder. I had to pay $300 to get a radiator and some intercooler piping done. Nope, never again.
Hi all friends 😀🤚 And out of curiosity, how much can a (HKS brand BOV) go for but for example $ 48.90 in the end has been expensive, good very important so we will know with more confidence how to differentiate and that nothing good either ... and each time this is going to be more common. I bought a Tial BOV, and looked at it on eBay and other sites, but it is worth paying a little more and buying from a site that is authorized by that brand to sell the product. eBay is good, but you have to be very careful. you have to be very careful with what you buy ... times are bad and it seems that one can no longer trust anyone right off the bat Well I just saw the post and I shit alive xD I bought my hks version III on ebay and I say you will see that they have cast it, but I just bought it and thank God I have the original, so if it cost me $ 60.80 I don't know what its price will be, but that will always buy. Be careful! Every time it costs more to distinguish the products copies of the originals. The other day to my bad luck of running out of cell phone battery, walking down the street I saw a with some imitation tires, instead made of japan, it put Bridgestone Power Something like they mimic things, they might already bother avoiding these things. not correct not copy china
I don't know what have you studied or where did you come from, but you are a f***ing boss man, every video I saw, you work suuper clean, everything perfect, and now I see it's not only for the RCs, men I admire you 👏👏
i really missed your videos ALOT. fixed my lancer several times thanks to you. Hope you keep posting more often and wish you the best for your project. Greetings from mexico my friend.
DUDE!!! PLEASE don't make us wait another 6 months for the next video brother! haha I'm sure you have a lot more going on than just this car but man....I feel like it's been forever since we've seen an update! AMAZING work man. I wish you lived near me to help me fix just normal stuff on my e30 325i sedan. You don't live near Tampa, FL do you? LMAO
Good to see you back, Mackey. Bud, did you consult with anyone before modifying your intake manifold? I am wondering if two of your cylinders will run hot because you have restricted the airflow to them with the modification that you made to the plenum. :)
I want that type of intake manifold for my m52 e36 but I don’t get how it’s installed. How is the fuel rail lines installed, fuel pressure lines, and what about the icv, temp sensor and throttle cable installed
I would’ve just done a brake booster delete instead of cutting the intake manifold that much. It is going to hurt power a lot there’s like no room for the last 2 runners
I know how you feel. This manifold is controversial right from the beginning. People say that the runners should be the same length and stuff. I'm hoping that the turbo will force all the air in so that the airflow doesn't matter much. So if this manifold turns out to be crap, then I will build a real custom one myself.

Yay! New video of your BMW E30! BTW, it's been a long time, bro.
Put 90deg bend between turbo and airfilter to bring filter into corner of engine bay, then drill vent hole in suitable location for filter. i had pretty much similar airfilter setup in my turbo volvo with holset, i moved the filter and intake temps went down 20degrees, huge improvement.
Yo Mackey you're nearly at 1 mil subs! Keep it up man I missed your videos! Especially your RC Modify videos. Best wishes for your BMW restoration build.
Nice work man, I love that you do this all yourself. Just a question, do you think having so many bungs like the vacuum for the brake booster and the one for the IAT sensor will work well so close to the BOV? Will the BOV not interfere with these or am I just making things up? Apart from that great work as always man.
Thanks! I don't know for sure until I put it to the test. Though I did some research before I decided to do it this way. In my opinion, it doesn't matter where the BOV is, the brake booster will always see a drop in air pressure once the BOV releases air. The IAT sensor is only there to measure the air temperature. The air goes out from the BOV, it shouldn't create much turbulence since the IAT sensor is before the BOV.
@@DarkDragonWing As a heads up the the brake booster vacuum needs to come from after the throttle body. From what i can tell in the video you have it before in the charge piping. This won't provide adequate vacuum in the booster to help with braking. Again not for sure that's what your doing but just a heads up.
Great work man, love watching you’re builds and all the effort you put in with editing.. I would’ve kept the booster vacuum bung on the manifold. it’ll pull more vacuum when you’re foot is off the throttle and the butterfly is closed.. these fancy manifolds look cool but I didn’t realise they’re such a pain to fit, I’m glad I stuck with the original 😅 Can’t wait for more 👌
Bung in pipe will not work. Brake booster needs vaccum your giving pressuer under boost . you will feel weak. Brake assist at idle but at boost no brake you will crash. Pls fix
I don’t go on RUclips often, glad to see you uploading a video again. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Little curious about cutting the intank manifold, is that going to effect not getting enough air flow? Keep up the good work, before you know it you’ll be at 1M subs!
the last 3 cylinders going to suffer to breath some air into them its better if u changed the power steering to an after market one like the CHASE BAYS POWER STEERING KIT , love your work keep on improving
You brake booster will not work. It needs vaccum, which means it needs to be in between the engine and the throttle body. Here it's only gonna get boost. The proper port for the booster probably is the one you removed from under the intake manifold... Also if you got a VW brake booster, you probably wouldn't have to cut your intake manifold, or at least you'd have cut way less.
Chopping all of that material off of the rear of the intake manifold like you did is going to cause issues with the air fuel ratio on the #6 cylinder definitely and possibly the #5 cylinder. You should’ve left it alone and got the Chase Bays brake booster delete.
Some of those fittings need to after the throttle body and you probably didn’t need to cut the manifold up because you could of remove the studs and used bolts instead
I've waited so long for this man!
Same bruhv been waiting for 7 months

I have one RC video in mind.
Hello. There is some way to communicate in private
Mackey did you consider going individual coil packs instead of old coil plugs?
Yes, but I'm using a pack from a V6 engine instead of individual ones. This one to be exact: www.diyautotune.com/product/ign-6-six-tower-coil-pack/
