This taut thriller tells the story of beautiful Rachel (Megan Ward), the homebound wife of the wealthy, emotionally cold millionaire, Holden. While Holden is away on one of his many business trips, Rachel's close friend, the equally beautiful Carla (Kristin Minter), prods Rachel to flirt with Travis, a young cowboy (Linden Ashby) who they meet at a dance club. This modern film noir takes twists and turns as Rachel appears to be setting up Travis to murder Holden. But who is setting up who? Unbeknownst to everyone, the sharp private eye (John Ratzenberger), hired by Holden to follow Rachel, as he suspects her of having an affair, is unraveling clues to a scheme that even he couldn't imagine.

I liked this movie but when I looked it up on google lots of bad reviews. I liked the clock going back and there was never a dull moment. Lots of twists and turns.

🤔 So I just have to add this. So when she gets out of the pool @ 34.16 minutes and 16 seconds into the movie, she gets out of the pool puts her robe on and high heeled shoes?? Do you know anybody as far as the average person, that wouldn't put on flip flops or pool shoes or whatever. But high heels??

Unbelievable kind of thriller/ murder movie... when Mrs Avery hit Travis once they just left him. Of course he's not yet dead. There's a chance he'll get up... How many times they travelled with a dead body in the trunk!...

C'mon! She could have taken the shovel that she killed him with that was nearby and chopped his hand off! Even if it wasn't nearby, we already watched her lift his body into the trunk of a car. Or at the very least she could have broken his thumb and removed the cuff.

Starts off with a murder plot, then turns into a real twister with a host of a comedy of errors (or should that be comedies?). Priceless. A bit draggy at the start, then all the action explodes. Priceless! Awesome black comedy. A nice surprise.

A little too purposely confusing for my tastes. Well-done, overall, but too much back and forth. This very complicated story could have been told in a more straightforward way, but that's not how the writer chose to do it.
That was the purpose, so you wouldn’t know what would happen. Not being straight forward was the good part
