I love the duck scene from A Christmas Story. They didn't tell the actress playing the mom about the duck and its beheading, so her reaction is genuine.
From smiling to trussing, tempering, kneading, shakings and layerings…you’ve come a long way, Babby! So thrilled the crispiest sandwich wrapped the stroll through the years! Happy Holidays!
For the dredging station, there is a rule for seasoning the flour. Unless the flour is visibly a different color (not necessarily dark, just visibly not pure white, maybe slightly orange), you haven't done anything for the flavor.
In January, I'd love to see you make the Sluzzle Dog from The Amazing World of Gumball! I've wanted to see that for years and if it goes wrong, there could always be a new Botched with Babish episode.
Today’s the 1st time in my 42 years that I realizes Ralphie screamed when the duck’s head got cut off too. His brother even looked at him surprised but stayed in character though 😂. I know the mother wasn’t informed to get her reaction but I guess they didn’t tell the kids either.
24:14 for many years, I have simply melted and whisked blocks of Trader Joe’s Belgian Chocolate into whole milk, adding a pinch of salt. It is wonderful, but I will try yours. Wow. 26:46 yeah, I’ll try your first recipe, not the crazy thick, nor crazy dangerous recipes.🤗
I thought at the end when he was just listing names that each kid was going to get a different holiday dish and I got really excited about this very strangely contrived kidnapping.
I absolutely love Mt. Tam from Cowgirl Creamery! Tasted it kind of by accident at the Oxbow Market many years ago when in Napa for a race (bought a few end pieces of various cheeses they had in a sale section) and I haven't ever forgotten it.
Heya Babish! You've likely covered similar dishes before, but I figured I'd suggest some new cinema foods in case you needed episode ideas! Christmas cookies from "The Holdovers" (drunken or flavored with the champagne of beers) Butter and Jam toast from "The Boy and the Heron" (I can't remember if you've done a video on jamming yet) Hover Choc, Edible Butterteacups, and Giraffe Cream Macaroons from "Wonka"

I was surprised how much of an effect this had when I first measured it. Water boils about 10F lower here where I live roughly 5500-6000ft, almost 5% lower temp than sea level.

You don't need Hollywood, Babish & Crew. Big thanks for all the fun, delicious food, great innovation, joie de vivre, beautiful photography, generosity of heart and soul, and, most of all, for being a fellow American. Don't feel bad for that. The entire world loves America, according to them, not according to the media, ok? Well, at least the version that isn't a hot mess. Let's work on that. Anyway, yeah. Love you all. Paz y salud.
table tempering chocolate is so much easier and faster. 45 minutes! No way, tabling takes like 5 min. You can feel the moment it goes into temper so you don't need to worry about temps. I watched the candy makers at Hercules Candy (RUclips) temper using their technique which is similar except they use their hands to move the chocolate.
Christstollen is a loved and hated fooditem in germany. Depending on if you like raisins and marzipan. I don't like it much. Many better german christmas sweets available. My dad on the other hand can't get enough of that thing...
@@jedimomma the softer the leaf, the less recovery, from my experience... it could also be i just dont like softer leaves. If i really want greens but im out of fresh leaves i sometimes fry celery with fajita spice mix and garlic. something about garlic heavily reduces the sharp flavors from celery, reducing it to an almost citrusy flavor.
Hey Andrew, Rashid on your show helping with the turkey. Was he a lawyer that by any chance moved out to SF some years ago? I also know a Rashid that looked like the build of your guy plus he dressed almost the same way down to the tracksuit & colorful watchband.
Everyone's saying this is lazy, but maybe Andy's having some mental health issues again. Plus I loved and missed every "saucepn" and stumbly sentence with words *almost* improperly used 😊

That is hilarious and cruel all at the same time!
Surprise reactions from actors is always funny

I just wanted to say, that They Kidnapped My Son On Christmas is a cinema masterpiece.

These marathons are amazing. Thank you. Every holiday marathons are great.
Thank you for a christmas marathon as well. I love these videos for my downtime and its interesting to rewatch and see everything. Cheers man.
My wife and I did the Roast Beast recipe a few years ago, and it was amazing!! Thinking about doing it again.

I think it's called "Sluzzle Wurst", but I haven't watched Gumball in years so don't quote me on that 😅
The sausage with everything in and on it. Greasy enough to make you sweat butter.

”They kidnapped my son on Christmas” is such a classic movie and that sandwich looks just like in the movie, bravo!
I had to say Babish channeling his inner Bryan Cranston was freaking hilarious! I kind of want to see more of the fake movies, LOL.
I think he should do it again for April fools day

been a while since i've watched a Babish vid just in time for the holiday season.
thinking about Babish drinking only from that mug for the rest of time.. Brought a smile to my face and a chuckle. fun episode
Brb binging this while glühwein is bubbling in my kitchen

So far the best hot coco ive had uses condensed milk as the sweetener
This has reminded me that I want to make the Elf's Hot Cocoa, Thanks Babish!!!

I love these videos and seeing how the background changes as babish grew.
Anyone else waiting for the RUclips premiere of "They Kidnapped My Son On Christmas"?
That roulade is an excellent idea and would likely cut down cooking time so significantly that I'm 100% actually going to try it. Thank you!
Kidnapped Before Christmas would be a Merry-tastic thriller.
Babish's acting is 🧑🍳
I love your candid videos!!!! You're in my Borough. Gave a great Holiday.
So are you telling me, for this video, I have to binge with babish?
I think the best name for the masses of content would be Binging Babish
I don’t know why but I still love watching Babish make 4hot cocoa
Then making one shaken, not stirred
Think I gotta watch that one again soon
That roast beast looks fantastic. All you could ask for in a roast turkey and so easy to carve!
Hey Andy! Happy holidays. Hope you’re doing OK. Take care of yourself, for you are worth it and deserve it. 💜; 💚

If you assume all olives have stones you’ll either be correct or pleasantly surprised
I was hoping that Babish was saving the Seven Fishes from The Bear for a Holiday episode.

I always thought that Monica drizzled white chocolate over her candies 🤔.
