- It's been almost a year since I got the idea to build a treehouse. It's a single tree treehouse, 11m high, 6mx6m octagon. Still some little things to be finished, but it's getting there.

Thank you for the comment! The view from bed is amazing with the big window on the side and you can look out over the landscape when you go to sleep.
Oh I can imagine how nice it must be during the night, too.
It would be great to construct something like that in the real wilderness, wouldn't it? ... and observe the wildlife days and night as you wish. Once the animals get used on it they won't run away scared or frightened.

This is in the wilderness, i see a lot of animals around the treehouse in the night and the treehouse is so high that the animals don't even care about it. Sometimes when i was working in the night the deers were maybe 50-100m from the treehouse and they didn't even care for the noise I was making. This treehouse is in the Trnovo forest, Slovenia.
Lucky you. I remember long ago when I was waiting on the tree for brown bear to film. Whole day up almost got leaves all over my body ... all the birds got completely used on me, not reacting at all. But I've had to stay quiet and extremely still. I decided to film them instead that bear which didn't show up at all. It was great experience, thou.

Near which bigger town?
Nova Gorica, Trnovo forest is one of the last true wilderness in Slovenia. We have bears and wolves here, but I didn't see them from the treehouse yet, but run into one on the road not long ago.
Now that's some amazing sh**! Hell of skills and a good taste in music too (since you are Slovenian I guess that's Gramatik). Really enjoyed this video...great job guys. Can't wait to see the second part.

This is awesome, but there is another fellow who is even more awesome, cos he made a tiled roof building with central heating all with nothing but his bare hands and the nature around him. lol He made his tools first (with videos of that too). This for me was absolutely amazing to watch. One of the ultimate guy experiences. No gloves or safety googles and it's perfectly fine with me, just means there's no pansies around. Risking it a little is what living life is all about. I bet these young men feel like they can do anything.

Because you don't need power tools to build a tree house. You also don't have to cut the top of the tree out to do it. Just sayin.
Depends in the type of tree house you want to build.
But on the one I build, I didn't cut a single twig or put a single nail into the tree.
maybe because they knew how destructive kids are with tools and trees? These kids literally chopped down all the good thick trees for a tree house? Would of better been used on a cabin or house? Seiously im sure the tools were always their but maybe you just think the grass is always greener? I must say these kids are not your average? These people are highly skilled? But I get your point? Definatly not american kids/NWO beta males? Real skills and brains dont need the government to live, this proves it?

I've seen people purchase the treehouse tabs (bolts) off the internet, this guy makes his own from scratch.. impressive if you ask me!
These are professionals and with all the machineries involved your labors was well compensated how i wish we can build one in our place but not as awesome as this too expensive for me can't afford good job guys

when I was a kid my brother and I built a 3 story tree house we collected free wood from a construction dumpster we also scavenged for nails. I was born in 88 I'm glad I still had a childhood
Really nice work guys. Dead trees are ok to bush. Just try to get some new trees to the area. Really well done with the house all together, friends and family. That is something we all need to more often.

one thing, I fell off a 15 foot ladder and shattered my wrist so theres no way I'm climbing without a fall harness , one bad step and you're done.

I think the trees will be ok because of the large metal support screws help keep the trees alive.. I've seen them used before..that video could give you a better explanation than I could give you ;)
