Alway remember that they were struggling until "Thrill' hit on Facebook. Their first big audience was in Seattle at an Asian Festival, 3000!! They continue to develop their music, you need to listen to ever song at least 5x to really Get It. Miku is the primary lyricist with Saiki now contributing. Miku is highly respected in Japan for her lyrics which are mature, deep and can hit hard. Miku Kobato is a very special Lady!!
Funny how many never complained about Kiss, Motley Crue, Poison or a host of other bands wearing costumes/makeup. This band are all very talented musicians that play some real kick-ass music....that's all that matters.
The same is true with what happened with BTS. They were made fun of wearing stage makeup in their early years, by their own peers. Some people still whine today, but this time by xenophobic people in western society, not just for makeup, but also by BTS' hairstyles, fashion & even for not speaking English, etc. Not just that but even for being Asian. Wtf? Yet BTS is now the biggest band in the world (that's not a stretch) ... they are now dominating in English ... they have one of the biggest (if not the biggest) fandom on Earth ... & have been on the Billboard charts for many weeks in a row now. I live in the U.S. & I listen to the 3 B's: BTS, BlackPink & Band-Maid. And just like you said, their music is what matters. Whatever makeup & fashion they wear is just a plus. And guess what, all 3 bands are Asian.
I say the exact same thing and some of my friends say that it's different with those "established" bands. Really?? How so??? Those bands were not established the 1st time they played in front of a Live audience.
The thing is Band-Maid's (or more specifically Miku) costumes are rooted in reality. There really are Maid Cafés. Miku really worked at Maid Cafés. There is a rhyme and a reason to the clothes. Not so with all the others. Can you tell me what Kiss costumes mean or stand for? Knights in Satan's Service? Please. The whole idea behind Band-Maid and it appearance and message is firmly rooted in reality. You cannot say that about any of the others. Most who make these ignorant comments have no idea of how Band-Maid came to be and the significance of their appearance. Simple as that. Sacramento loves Band-Maid.
Always amazed at the lyrics that come from the mind of our Small Pigeon, so deep and profound! Miku's defiant scream and Ahhh, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah! say the Small Piqeon is dead set on taking over the world! I for one, and eagerly awaiting that day! Band Maid ROCKS!
Nice bars at the beginning bro! There's different ways to enjoy music, I often listen to what's called 'roosters battles' in my mother language Spanish. Pure improvised freestyle, they have leagues on several countries and international events and championships. Ones flow with the base, others are more punchy, aggresive, throw reggae or even sing melodically. There's a wide range of styles in there, so if you don't like one in particular you have a ton others to follow. Now talking about Band-Maid, there's no need to understand the lyrics in order to enjoy their beautiful work, however when you understand what's being said it improves their songs by a mile, with a few exceptions (*cof Don't Let Me Down cof*). Miku is a great lyricist that likes to write about reality, problems and never giving up on whatever you want to accomplish. Such a special band this is, forever love 🤘🕊️
No finer hard rock band working anywhere on the planet. Sacramento loves Band-Maid. Band-Maid is Miku. Miku is Band-Maid. While Sai-chan does the majority of the singing small pigeon writes the lyrics and does the vast majority of the talking. And l like what she has to say. Wise beyond her 810 years. Yes, indeed. The loquacious small pigeon is 810. The good news is she will remain 810 and not grow a day older. You know who Sacramento loves.
Fantastic video, I love this band so much. They sound so awesome!
now they are challenging to make a hard-progressive-rock music( only I think)

@@robwebnoid5763 💯% agree its the music that matters. Gimmick bands don't last long if they don't sound good

was fortunate enough to see this live online back in May. Awesome show! ♥
And the pov camera work was innovative too. It had to be when the Maids decided to go off stage & walk around the entire studio :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 ooh yea. Hope they release one of those songs where they maids were turned round. It was kool!
MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! , Our rock never dies - forever , one of the best lyrics Miku has written .
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃
while Kanami doing lead, Misa is doing bass lead too🤘🏽…so 🔥
Yeah, never judge a book by its cover. Or should I say, never judge a band by its outfit?
Hahaha true
BAND MAID calls it THE GAP! there's a gap between how someone appears and what they do. Miku has said that was what she was going for.
@@joeking6763 ma halo for explaining about "the gap " B-M tries to achieve especially with new listeners 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
