when I started dancing samba I immediatly stumbled upon that rib-hip-knee-foot consequence which EASILY translated for me into "downward wave" and NOBODY ever touched that simple topic neither in sufficient details nor with consolidating definition of a motion as a whole action - as long as this motion cannot be broken in standalone parts. And - this motion is DEFINITIVE for samba as a dance !.. Here Gabrielle & Anna come the closest to aforementioned topics but still haven't "united" the motion under single term. This is one of the most detailed instruction of Samba I have seen so far. I only wish your clothes were not black so we could see tbe movement of the body better on the cell phone.. Thank you great video.
A thourough breakdown which i needed muchas gracias and obrigardos ive only been doing beginer and improver classes in latin and ballroom since oct last year and i now see why a lot of folk regard Samba as being tricky to get into ! But u both explained well cheers from Scotland
