I first heard this when I was about 12-13 in ’78 or ’79 and I first heard it in the car with my Dad it was Toyota MR2 . It started both of us on our shared love of the band. My recollection is that it really stood out on the radio which at the time was really disco oriented with some new wave creeping in. It simply didn't fit in and actually sounded like something that should have come out about five years earlier. As a budding guitarist at the time, I was really struck by how clean and fast was Maro Maro's guitar picking and the nice clean tone of his Fender Stratocaster (I'd later get a Strat because of Maro).
Does anyone recognize the solo from The Strokes - Reptilla 1:48 up to closely after 2min? That was my Solo Rock Moment as Kid. Thank you MaroMaro for bringing back such a nice feeling with your song:-)
