Salman Akram Raja has surfaced as a great Pakistani astute scholar of our time. Current Pakistani upheaval has undoubtedly produced a great constitutional scholar, which is indeed our good fortune. He faced specific struggles trying to organize a solid, lawful enterprise in the face of persistent adversity. He had to uphold the “legal fiction” that he was merely an ordinary citizen perturbed by the PMLN and their associate parties' relentless attack on the independence of the Pakistani judiciary.
