The fact that the yellow curve was misaligned the whole of the game overview was so hard to ignore!! Great insight to this game, clearest I've seen so far so thanks!
I’m absolutely on the same page as Mike in his final thoughts. Much respect to Ted Alspach, he’s designed some objectively great games, but there’s never been a game with his name on it that I’ve personally enjoyed. But this one looks amazing, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. It looks like the parts of Steam I like (with none of the parts I hate), along with a great engine building mechanism.
I definately agree on the card drafting. In our first game I had the goal card that gives 10 points if you dont have any lavender or purple. I thought 10 points was good as all my other goal cards were 4 or 2 points. So when I learn that having lavender and violet passengers on my board will score me MORE than 10 points? Well, I was definately swayed into not choosing the more iptimal strategy because of that cards, supposedly, high point count. It was our first game so it wasnt too bad, we were still learning. But still definately agree about being potentially persuaded into other strategies based on your goal cards.
Guess I have a high and low preorder for me. Have a Preorder in with an online retailer that just has two games in it. X-Men Mutant Insurrection and Maglev Metro.
I played it tonight and wow damn I thought it was good. I am not big at all on cube-pushery, victory point, "everybody stare at your player board", or train games - I am Mr. Ameritrash. This is one of the only sort of games of this type I have ever liked. It is a little combo platter of what I think is cool about those types of games with very little of what I think is lame about those types of games.
Yet to get my copy tested but being a train game I was hesitant. This intrigued me more but it didn't sound like there was much to the game from the overview. Hope the solo game is close to the multiplayer experience.
This game sounds great but isn't very color blind friendly. Games like Scythe take that into account and print it on the box. C'mon! Who makes Lavender game pieces? Booo!
"This game has dual lay-"
Mike: Game of the year!
Great to see Chris on the panel. THAT VOICE!
Chris has a great voice!
Oof! Yes! Eric’s got some competition! 😅😂😃🤗
As Mike DiLisio would say, “The dulcet tones of Chris Yi” 😎
@@ShawnH78 Chris’ voice, Mike’s words, Roy’s enthusiasm, Zee’s stage presence and Tom’s breadth... the board game Voltron.
Zee looks completely different without a beard.
Where is he?

Go Chris! Awesome to see Chris on a review.
The four of you and Zee is the best Dice Tower ensemble ever!! By far!
I've been waiting for this review. Thanks guys, I was on the fence and you convinced me to go ahead and order.
I wish the Manhattan side of the board was rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, so the North end of Manhattan was at the top of the board.
Great review. I game I never would play but now will consider.
Thank you for the great and timely review. I was on the fence on this one, but it looks great and I am going to buy it now.
Great review! Thank you!
looks like they are kickstarting new maps
Any comparisons to Whistle Stop?
Is Chris allowed in that room?! I thought that was a Tom-Only room!
Shhh. Don't tell the boss man!

Looks amazing. Is Mr. Dilisio going to do a solo review in the near future?
Seems a pretty safe bet. 🚄
Random watch, and now I want to play this game.
DRINK.... Roy said Min/Max
Drink Trevor tried to troll! 😝

Looks solid
Any thoughts on the solo game?
Did I miss the seal? Also Mr. Chri's rating came up to fast.

This game sounds very interesting.
Heard the music and got excited.....thought Miami Dice was back......
Any one else think, from the nose down, Roy and Chris look very similar.

Not colorblind but those gold and bronze meeples just made me lose my mind...
That fake plant is really throwing me off, otherwise, I already bought it.

this has got to be one of the ugliest player boards i've ever seen.
The only thing that looks absolutely horrible are those player boards...they look terrible folks.
Meh, I don’t think a game about the pink, lavender and purple passengers is for me :)
You better not have Wingspan, then.
