JuneTeenth 2020 At General Grant National Memorial

Local 808 made a call for a rally on Juneteenth.
The calls for Justice continue unabated since the murder of George Floyd. Local 808 believes that Labor must be proactive in the struggle for Justice. The killing of George Floyd is the continued assault on the black working class by the ruling elite. We gathered at Grant’s Tomb and Labor and the Community spoke against all forms of discrimination, demilitarization and structural change in how the police operate in our society. We made a demand for a better future.
