    The manual gives a different process for cleaning the group head. There is an automatic cleaning process that the machine does.
    1. Insert the binding disk and a cleaning tablet. Lock the portafilter into the machine. Choose F.01 and push the coffee button to CL1. The machine will go through the cleaning process.
    2. When you see CL2 on the display, remove the portafilter with the bind disk and rinse both with water.
    3. Replace the portafilter without the bind disk and push the coffee button to resume the cleaning process.
    4. When the display reads CL3, remove the portafilter and replace the bind disk. Push the coffee button again and wait for it to complete. Once it shows the temperature, the cleaning process is complete. Remove the portafilter and bind disk and give them a final rinse.

    Thanks for the guide really useful. I have the same machine but the manual and manufacturer doesn't mention or recommend to descale the machine because it could harm or provoke corrosion.
    professional descaling involves removing the boiler, cleaning it manually, replacing the seals, pressurestat, etc., and potentially the heating element, and re-assembly. I don't think you can use a chemical descaler at home due to the inability to flush it all out effectively, you'd need to heat the boiler to full pressure to evacuate the water through the group head/hot water dispenser (if equipped) and repeat a dozen or more times to get the chemical out. You'll still end up drinking some of it.
    Manufacturer recommends to use soft water (below 80ppm) with that you wont need to descale for years (8+). And whem that time happens contact them to do It for you...

      @@konlissalanova aha dzięki. Wodę przez te dwa lata wlewałem filtrowaną. To może nie będzie tak źle. Obniżę temperaturę w bojlerze do spieniania to może dezcal zadziała mniej agresywnie

      @@konlissalanova a i jeszcze miałem ten młynek 270 sette i niestety jest on wadliwy. Rozleciała mi się przekładnia i silnik kręcił a nic nie mielił. Wymieniłem na nową ale on i tak musi paść bo przekładnia jest plastikowa. Także polecam się zaopatrzyć w drugi młynek . Bo ten może się zepsuć w każdej chwili

    I just tried descaling with this method and now my hot water valve is blocked :( , it must be scale causing the blockage ? Not sure how to fix this.

    • @konlissalanova
      @konlissalanova  10 месяцев назад +1

      This can happen due to the lack of regular descaling, then big chunks can occur and block parts of the system. Anyway, you can try to fix this by taking an even bigger volume of descaling solution and leaving it overnight in the system. It must dissolve🙏

    How's it going using chemical descaler? From what I heard you aren't meant to use it.

      Why not? I’m washing it off with clean water many times before using the machine. Please, let me know what’s wrong with it.

      Dezcal is citric acid and does not contain detergents, designed for espresso machines. It isn't being left in the machine long enough to do any damage and a thorough rinse will clear it out. It's probably harder on the machine to never descale it, or at a minimum you will see a decrease in performance.
