Hi! Please, find the formulas for roots lightening and hair toning below🙌:
👍 Roots lightening:
40 g of bleach powder (high quality, 9+ levels promised by producer) + 80 g of 3% (10 vol) developer + 4 g plex defender (stage 1 bond enhancer)
20 minutes application + 30 minutes additional waiting
❗ if your roots grew by 1-1.5 cm, take 50 g of bleach powder
❗ do not bleach your roots using this technique, if they grew 1.5+ cm, otherwise you will get a brassy yellow line!
👍 Neutralization:
1 g of direct violet pigment (0/66) + 70 g of 1.9% (6 vol) developer
👍 Hair toning (for roots zone):
10 g 10/81 + 20 g 10/6 + 5 g 10/0 + 5 g 0/00 + 80 g 1.9% (6 vol) d...

Beautiful colour, and great application. The end result is perfect!
Thank you! Cheers!🤗☀️
Your title is wrong, first as a hairdresser, I don't keep secret from my client, If a blonde can be achievable and they want to do it at home, I prefer explain to them how to do it than they come back with damage hair and hope me to repair it because sometimes it is just not possible, the hair is completely died and it is really sad and emotionally suffering for the person. Second, NOT anyone can be blonde, yes but not necessary in one session because we don't want the hair to break off. It depends on the level of your hair, if you are a 7 like you, yes it is easier but less easier if you are a level 2 by example and it has to be natural hair like a regrow. It is not the same if your hair is already coloured, trying to get a platinum blonde with a level 5 box die hair in example is really more difficult and will probably take more than one session, it has to be progressive to keep your hair healthy. For the rest of your video, you were right, sections and soaking the hair is really important to get a clean result not a patchy one, not letting the toner to long where your hair is more porous is a good advice too. Finally, your result is well done and beautiful.
Yeah but very few of us can be natural blondes. I am so lucky I don't have to do this. Makes sense now why I was bullied so much in school after seeing so many brunettes dye their hair my colour.

Do not mix with a mixer or use any metal like a bowl or a fork, idk. Nice vid btw :)
Thanks for the tip!👀
How to bleach when roots are more than 2cm?
I didn’t have such an experience by myself, but as far as I know you should bleach using foil when it’s 2+ cm😓 unless you want an orange line somewhere near the roots😬 and bleaching with foil seems to be way more complicated… I suppose another method is to bleach as I did, get this orange line but then bleach it separately one more time, using a new mixture. But this may be less accurate and less safe for the rest of hair + it depends on how much grown up hair you have, if it is 5 cm it will not work out in any case I think😔
Why you didn’t put the violet in the second mixture? 😂 Or just using a tone with violet in it itself in the first place !😂
I did put😮 It is 10/81 color direction, you may find the detailed formulas in description under the video🤗 Or you mean direct pigment, the 1 g of violet I took for neutralization stage?
Beautiful blond❤ and its a good advice to not let the roots grow too much because the warmth of the sculp will not be enough to lift the colour up enough if the roots are more than 2 cm. I know that also from my expierence 😊❤
Exactly🫶😎
Will it work if i mix the toner with a hairmask instead of a light developer?
Do you mean demi-permanent hair dyes under the “toner”? Please, check this🙏 Because if you do, then you cannot, as ammonia or its analogues used there need oxidation, that’s how these products were designed. So they can spoil hair if used improperly, and what’s most important - you will not get the desired result💔
I suggest checking your toner’s instructions🙏
No, a proper toner needs oxidation.
Looks like your hair is more about a level 6… depending on the bleach brand you can achieve this blonde with even a lower developer, just leaving the bleach in for at least up to 50 minutes. With blonde me and 7 vol on roots like this length it’s no problem for a lvl 6 hair 😊
Hi there, I have a similar natural hair color as you do (mainly level 7, partially bit lighter, partially a bit darker: level 5 artificial color doesn't look crazy next to my natural roots, level 7 CAN look too light, level 6 CAN look darker though, depends on the specific color). I also use 6 volume developer for my roots, but only if I have a lot of time. If I don't, I use 20 volume (never go above that though). And I can get my hair almost white with both. For longer hair I'd always recommend the lowest volume one could use. I have short hair, so I don't care as much about that. You shared some very important and valid information, I hope a lot of people see this BEFORE trying to go blonde or trying to touch up their roots. Because yes, anyone could go blonde, even those with super dark hair. But the process will be a bit different for darker hair. Level 7 is quite easy to lift to a very light color, level 4 isn't as easy anymore. Often times darker hair also requires a more intense/more pigmented toner after bleaching. And it is very important to pick the right toner to achieve a nice blonde. I've seen so many mistakes being done by many people, even professionals. That's really the only reason why I wanted to point that out. What one can do, if their bleach doesn't lift light enough within 50 minutes: Apply a freshly mixed batch right over top. That assures that the bleach still lifts during that process. But always check for your hair's integrity (by pulling on a small strand, it shouldn't stretch at all, if it starts to stretch only the slightest bit, you definitely went too far). Bleach isn't low impact, it's high impact and should always be handled with care. Aside from that: The thicker and the more dense your hair, the finer your sections should be and the more product you'll need. About your results: super nice, very pretty, love it on you and you're overall super beautiful imho. Very well done, good job at explaining things and it's also easy to understand imho. You're such a cutie, it's very enjoyable to watch you through the process.
OMG I'm so touched with your words!💔 Thank you!😊 Also, thank you for such a long and comprehensive comment! You added many useful insights, I'll pin it👍
👍❤
The hair dyes are Demi permanent? 10/81 is lightest pearl blonde and 10/6 is lightest violet blonde ? 0/00 is clear or silver? Correct?
Yes, correct🙌🏻 but 0/00 is clear☺️
The sound of the brush against your scalp 😂 splash that shii love it
🙃
in the end, you could also use a grey/light violet mask of purple shampoo right?
I prefer to not use these products as they are too aggressive for hair ;( besides there is no need, as demi-permanent dye keeps the color fresh for quite a long time. But if you feel for example after two weeks that the color changed and you want to make it cooler, you may use it!🙌🏻 The only recommendation is to use it once a week at a maximum🙂
@@konlissalanova blue/purple shampoo is more agressive than a peroxide solution? never knew
@ oh, from your first comment I thought you were asking if “you could also use” - additionally, not substitutionary🙂 So I responded that it’s better not, as yes, they are aggressive, and it is additional stress for already weakened hair. I do not think blue shampoos are more harmful than peroxide, but I think they can not substitute regular hair dying (toning), moreover, they accumulate in hair after some time and blonde becomes dim and grayish👀
This is the first time I watched such a clear video about hair dye. thanks. good luck.🎉❤😊
Glad it was helpful!❤️❤️❤️
no matter what when roots grow. you must bleach no way of getting around it unless you are natural level 10
12/81 👍✨✨✨✨
Hello Konlissa. I don’t know if you are aware. But instead of using all three other toners(pink tubes) at the end. You can alone just use the wella koleston 12/81 with 40% that gives the same result. Just the one tube. Very ash blonde and on roots also for your desired look you are after. 🤗
pink tubes are for toning and koleston is for lightening, applying it on length would be unhealthy for hair
@@ordererosion no you only apply it ten minutes before washing it off I should have stated that.
@@eloisefraser2919 koleston is NOT supposed to go on the length. That’s just a fact.
Hello :) I made the Koleston colouring and the roots came out slightly pale yellow, after that I did toning by your formula and now my hair is grey and roots pale yellow. I know the grey will fade away but could you recommend me other toner formula?:) thanks!❤
That came out real pretty
Thank you ❤️
amazing❤❤
I have used Special blonde too for a yea and it did not damage my hair the way the bleach did and I did not feel the hair so dry and the scalp so itchy and dry afterwards. It still does an amount of damage as all the chemical dyes do but not as much as the bleach, I had so much breakage from the bleach. And warm tones....I am a natural level 5 medium brown so I got used to the warm tones as I will never ever get cool tones with anything being so dark naturally so I am ok with a strawberry blonde.
I feel so relatable about warm tones, in spite of having slightly lighter base color - 7🤝 Having this yellow pigment can't be hidden, it still breaks through at some point :/ But I like cool tones no matter what, so proper toning formula with dyes, not just toners, and I can enjoy a perfect cool shade at least 1 week, then it becomes warmer but not too yellow, so I'm okay with it) Anyway, we are just golden girls, so😎
did this exactly 3 years ago, and regreting it so much, now i am growing it out to start using dye again instead of bleachh :/
I'm sorry to hear this😯 Maybe I'll regret it someday as well🥴 But now I'm in the phase "the lighter the better")
It’s an amazing result, I think it’s even better than platinum but I’m excited to see it too 🎉
Thank you😍
Hi everyone, do you think is it great step to use wella power bleach + 6% developer and then apply redken toner 10GI+10P for good blonde result? My hair are in 5 natural tone
I think it is! Especially the decision to use bleach +6%, as 5 is quite dark for anything else. Never used redken though, but looks like these shades should do well!
This only works if your hair is naturally light...........if your hair is dark only thing this would do is lighten your hair some and possibly leave it brassy........but it does look gorgeous on you. there are bleaches with bond repairing products in it, as well as additives to protect the bonds in your hair all to minimize damage......also you can use hi-lift dyes instead of bleach to get similar lift with less damage....then there are the bond repairing shampoo/conditioner/leave-in's ect too.
Your hair looks beautiful! Great job!😊
Thank you!! 😊
I saw someone on Reddit who has really long hair and uses Elumen Top Chic 12BS which is similar to Wella Special Blonde. Seems like these dyes are way more gentle than bleach regardless of the developer difference. It looks really good!
Yesss💘🤩 Thank you🤗
Nice haircut 👍
Thanks😊
@@konlissalanova a i jeszcze miałem ten młynek 270 sette i niestety jest on wadliwy.
Thanks for the guide really useful. I have the same machine but the manual and manufacturer doesn't mention or recommend to descale the machine because it could harm or provoke corrosion. professional descaling involves removing the boiler, cleaning it manually, replacing the seals, pressurestat, etc., and potentially the heating element, and re-assembly. I don't think you can use a chemical descaler at home due to the inability to flush it all out effectively, you'd need to heat the boiler to full pressure to evacuate the water through the group head/hot water dispenser (if equipped) and repeat a dozen or more times to get the chemical out. You'll still end up drinking some of it. Manufacturer recommends to use soft water (below 80ppm) with that you wont need to descale for years (8+). And whem that time happens contact them to do It for you...
use avocado or olive oil. don't use that poisonous vegetable oil if you want to be healthy. vegetable oil is laboratory mutation oil. it's not natural at all.
You are right. I would rather use lard if I had it.
lovely recepie, looks very tasty too. Aways wander how to make, gonna try this week. Greetings from Brazil. 👍
Thanks😍 Hope you’ll enjoy it, if you have any questions - don’t hesitate to ask😊

2:37 it is true you dont need a fancy tool like the one you showed however its been proven that a simple wdt tool does improve your shot
IMHO simply hitting it with a firm hand side makes same loose structure. Tried one of this and saw no difference🤷🏼♀️
Thanks 🙏❤
You're welcome 😊
Beautiful landscape. What country is this?
Thank you! But I failed to capture 100% of its beauty on the video, there is also some sea over there, as it's forest on the hills💚 It can't be seen well due to the cloudy weather. This is Poland😉
Hello! Thank you for this! I have similar hair to you, but I'm nervous using the 40 volume on the scalp. Do you find this developer to burn your scalp?
Hi!😊 This may sound suspicious, but I've never felt anything with 40 vol + special blonde, doing this almost 4 years, but felt a really unpleasant heat once I used 10 vol developer + bleach powder (I wanted to get an even lighter blonde, you may check it on my channel if you want to compare). So! Please, never use bleach powder with high volumes - that's a rule we used to hear about! But if we deal with special blonde dyes, as shown in this video (12.[something] dyes) - we should use high developer, not less than 30 volume! To ensure good lightening result - 40 is the best. This is how a special blonde dye works - ammonia in it needs high volume developer to work safe (but I'm not strong in chemistry to explain this😅). To cut a long story short - I felt nothing, and felt *something* with low vol + bleach. Hope your individual reaction will be good🙂 If you worry, you may make a very small portion and make a test somewhere on your neck, just skin🙌
Thank you for your advice! Good idea, I will try a strand test on my scalp and see how my skin reacts!@@konlissalanova
Very beautifull. For me the perfekt blonde❤️
Thank you 🌻
Welcome🫶
I just tried descaling with this method and now my hot water valve is blocked :( , it must be scale causing the blockage ? Not sure how to fix this.
This can happen due to the lack of regular descaling, then big chunks can occur and block parts of the system. Anyway, you can try to fix this by taking an even bigger volume of descaling solution and leaving it overnight in the system. It must dissolve🙏
@@konlissalanova thanks for the advice, did it once more and its now fixed :) 😊
How's it going using chemical descaler? From what I heard you aren't meant to use it.
Why not? I’m washing it off with clean water many times before using the machine. Please, let me know what’s wrong with it.
Dezcal is citric acid and does not contain detergents, designed for espresso machines. It isn't being left in the machine long enough to do any damage and a thorough rinse will clear it out. It's probably harder on the machine to never descale it, or at a minimum you will see a decrease in performance.
Thank You! I loved your accent ❤ Your hair looks beautiful!
Thankyou I've started doing this on my roots no more bleach it works my hair is natural level 6 x
🤩👍🏻
Bump it up to a level 12 instead of a 10
Oh, I can’t, my hair is too weak and leaves me after this😁 That’s why I’m trying to make all this “rocket science” with color directions while toning, to get as white & cool as possible out of my yellow🙂
