The small touches like accidentally slamming a butcher's knife into a cutting board, small sideways glances, and occasional moments that distract from the task at hand make quite a difference. It is a rule when making any large meal, especially stews like goulash, that you must begin the hours long process with some knife tricks with the biggest knife you can find to assert dominance.
My thing is grabbing a sharp knife, holding it out in front of me and saying "At last, my arm is complete again!" like Sweeney Todd with a barber razor before getting on with it.
God, whoever animated this is the greatest. Everything about this got me. The mundane task and the realism of chopping veggies paired with the absurdity of potato GLaDOS, Marnie teasing her Morpeko while being absolutely adorable, Eevie chilling, Gloria yeeting the squirrel, the pudding gag in the end.... you rock, man
You know what, as amazing as this is, I think I appreciate the realism of stuff like the butter sticking to the knife or having to actually try to empty the can the most. That's some attention to detail.

I love when anything does that, I know this is a bit off topic but that's why the older Lego games were the best because they had to use jesters and funny little bits as their own words.
I love how they're realistically cooking curry (which is actually a process that has many more steps than the minigame in SwSh), complete with ingredient preparation and requiring multiple people to cook that much curry in a reasonable amount of time.
Can we talk about how actually AMAZING this is? The scraping of the knife on the cutting board, the box flaps falling after sliding the chocolate out, the berries jiggling as Gloria moves them in her hand, it's awesome!! A job well done for sure!!
For once, someone actually acknowledges sound. It feel like an under appreciated art form these days, unless you work in music. The amount of time and effort a lot of us soundies go to is never truly appreciated by the masses
Why couldn’t actual Pokémon games have wholesome cutscenes like this. Edit: I’m glad I was able to make a discussion about this by the way. Knowing that other people also want to have Pokémon have more animation and character in it. I’m not saying Sword and Shield doesn’t, but I just wish there was more so that it doesn’t just feel like the previous games but with slight enhancements to character animations and new gimmicks in the game. I don’t hate Sword and Shield, but I wish there was more to it.
@@TheZombie2415 That's a pretty heavy hyperbole. Pokemon's graphics have *never* looked good when compared to other modern games with high production values, with perhaps the exception of gen 5. Still, they look acceptable. It actually looks way better than something from the 2000's.

Salty Candy Stuff I he mean those true story telling channel with obscure plot that the word “true” become invalid. The animation in those channel is so shallow like produce a video every day while many talented animators take weeks months too make one video. And the animation are not animation at all it look they use photoshop to move the characters on screen.

Yeah, the animations themselves were a little on the rougher side, but there was so much character in the animation.

There are ALOT of amazing animations in RUclips. If you actually look, you'll get alot of them.
Salty Candy Stuff I he mean those true story telling channel with obscure plot that the word “true” become invalid. The animation in those channel is so shallow like produce a video every day while many talented animators take weeks months too make one video. And the animation are not animation at all it look they use photoshop to move the characters on screen.
