I appreciate your video and look forward to seeing your posts when I have down time. I find the way others do their homeschool fascinating.
I spent WAY too much on curriculum this year and was convicted to do better for next year. I have already shopped EBay and went to a garage sale to find a bargain on a big ticket item on my list! Even if I can’t find a deal on what we need, my son is getting a great Christian education and I’m spending a fraction of private school tuition.
I think you'll end up getting a lot of educational value for that money. Sales and thriftbooks/used books are so helpful for the budget!
Oh absolutely! It's a lot of money but it's investment with everything that they will learn.
I spent quite a bit because I wanted to see everything and I use literature-based curriculum. Too much impulse buying. But now that I've seen so many of the curricula that I was interested in, next year will be much more restrained because I will already know what I like and don't like.
I have totally done that as well! But I think that it does help in future years to know the ins and it's of certain curriculum.
