Sitting Miguel's right now, I tried two tacos at Machin and they were pretty not great. Miguel's is the clear winner. I haven't watched your video in a while so I'll check and see what you guys came up with 😁
This place has blown up so much the last 5-6 years. You nailed it, in my time driving throughout Baja and BCS, these are the absolute best and easiest to access (and IMO it's Machin!). And if you're looking for some secret and amazing fine dining, Lucky 23 right up the street is undefeated!
Thanks for watching! We'll have to check out Lucky 23 next time we're down there. You're right though......you can't beat the ease of access for these 2.
Carnitas Machin is my favorite. We go as a group and buy 2 kilos and get our fill. Great place. service sometimes is lacking, but the food makes up for it. Highly recommend. On the main road in pascadero.
It's so good! The staff was really nice and hooked us up with a big old sample when we rolled in. I'm not sure if the camera helped with that or if it's the norm but I'm definitely not complaining.
I live in El Pescadero for 4 months a year, we are heading down at the end of November. I really like Machin as well, I like it mostly because it's almost always a woman run business....just women all the time so they run a nice, clean and great food business. Of course we eat everywhere!! including Miguel's too. BTW they do allow you to bring your dog if you sit down on the sand area...the street dogs will pretty much leave your dog alone. I prefer the group salsa bars but the individual one's are good too I just hate the waste since they (obviously) have to toss all the stuff people don't eat on the individual salsa trays...the only other thing i'll say is that people often pick up on the free range flavor of the pork (or beef or chicken), just like cows that are grass fed have a different taste than corn fed. It is a flavor to get used too but it can be strong for some people. It's good to realize that is the flavor of the meat as it should be.
Thanks for the pet info! The group salsa bars are my favorite because I can load it up how I like it. I have issues with meat in the states but notice that it doesn't mess with me nearly as much when we're in Mexico. The natural stuff is where it's at!
Technically El Pescadero, but since many people only known of Cerritos or Todos Santos, we included all three for the area. You'll be glad to try it - they're delicious!
Thanks for watching. We've talked about it but we love Mexican food so much that we never stop. There are a few zones that have quite a few Chinese restaurants clustered so maybe we'll do it one of these days. We wonder if it's traditional or has a Mexican twist.
Thanks for watching. To be honest, I can't remember how we paid. I have a feeling that they would take cards but would always have a little cash with you just in case I'm wrong.

Thanks for watching! We were reversed on our opinion. As always, we'll continue product testing each trip and keep folks updated on our thoughts.

Were those on the main drag in Pescadero or Cerritos ? I know both towns are next to each other, just wondering for future trip.

Hey Greg, you should do the best Chinese food in Baja or there any Chinese restaurants down there?

Is it cash only or do they take card as well?
