𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲: 𝗘𝗖-𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗫𝟳𝟮𝗡
Our engineers are constantly working on support for new platforms and optimizing the performance, efficiency, and quality of our software - namely our EC-Master EtherCAT® MainDevice Software and our real-time Hypervisor solutions.
Just last week, our marketing guy captured another new board on a developer’s desk - the 𝗥𝗫𝟳𝟮𝗡 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗖-𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴!
To get the maximum performance on this 240MHz 32-bit µC with only 1MB RAM, the EC-Master is running “bare-metal” - without an operating system - and provides decent performance using the built-in SuperH 10/100Mbit Ethernet (or better: EtherCAT) Interface.
