for coding anything from i5 onwards even i3 will do as long as it is simple coding you are not say making codes for games cause then you need to compile / run on the laptop in that case you will need a powerful laptop based on the end product for test
you can go with HP's pavillion series if you want good build quality. I personally own Acer Aspire 7 and it can easily compile heavy code but its build quality is not good. my Right side hinge is broken within 2.5 yrs of daily use. Bought it for 46k on BBD sale in 2020.

Everybody please don't purchase this laptop. They are just looting money of people 3 months before I purchased this laptop and now it's power mode and motherboard is burnt . They use 3rd class item for manufacture . And I didn't used it even 4 hrs a day then this is the condition of laptop. now they are demanding 31k more to repair this saying that it is not under warranty...if someone has any idea then please help me to claim the warranty.
