Bringing a Mother to Court

The plaintiff brings her mother to court. She claims she bought her mother a phone and set her up with cable under her name. Unfortunately, the plaintiff's mother failed to pay, so she is suing. The defendant insists she wasn't the only person who used the cable. In terms of the phone, the defendant argues the plaintiff offered to pay for it.
