If that old airfield is “bentwaters” I went there to pick something up years ago, totally mind blowing the money that was spent there then abandoned. I know it was Americans but I bet the uk had to chip in. Story I heard was that the family that owned the land originally bought it back at a very favourable rate and now it has all sort of businesses on there.

I didn’t realise that in Britain there are such big farms that require such huge equipment. I always thought that only USA and Australia could use them.
Great vlog Olly. We were in Suffolk bank holiday before last and wondered what the fleece was covering up! thank you for answering that for us. The crop looks like carrots which I think grow well in sandy soils. Looking forward to the sugar factory , I try to buy all British sugar.

That was an interesting variation as videos go Olly. Some serious kit on show, interesting how as you pointed out they are constantly improving / upgrading it. One thing is for certain though, the Apache Gunship with its M230 cannon (30x113mm) would certainly plough a field faster than any of those tractors. But unfortunately HEDP or HEI doesn't grow 🤔🤣
You were still closer to Liverpool. MoD Woodbridge is 226 miles from the centre of Paris but only 206 miles from Liverpool according to Google maps. MoD Woodbridge used to be called RAF Sutton Heath but was closed as an active airbase in 1993. It’s now used by the army air corps for training, hence the helicopters.
The Apaches are based at Wattisham the other side of Ipswich and the A14 and use most of Suffolk to train and as you say they use MOD Woodbridge too ! We have them over head regularly !
You're in our neck of the woods I see, Manns is our local dealer there at Saxham. You'll see lots of military aircraft in these East Anglian skies, they're buzzing with KC135 Stratotankers, C130 Hercules, F15E Strike Eagles and F35A Lightning IIs. 🥕🥕

But is now dry enough for the wind to pick up the sand and damage all the canola and peas, but anyway thanks for the vids. We just bought a claas axion 920 and what a tractor the cvt transmission is amazing . All the best to you.
