I got subbed a few videos ago and I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your channel. You have an incredibly engaging style and I find I like the way you review and assess the bags. There is real positivity and encouragement about the videos. Somehow they really work. This bag looks really good and seems to work really well. If I didn't already have so many bags that it is absurd, KI would consider getting one. As I have so many - it is obvious that I probably would consider getting one anyway haha. Thanks for the work you put in. Making videos is never easy and you guys get it right more times than not. I haven't witnessed a 'not' yet. Looking forward to more videos. #KeepDoingIt! #YouAreGreatAtThis
This is a great review! The bag itself is an interesting concept. I like that you showed how the bag looks if it’s packed and being carried. That allows for viewers to determine the relative size. Great idea. I’ll be looking at your other reviews!!
The Everyman Hideout 5-Way Commuter Pack offers versatility with its multiple carry modes, making it suitable for various situations. On the other hand, the Black Ember Forge emphasizes durability and a modular design, providing customization options. Both are excellent choices, with the Hideout focusing more on adaptability and the Forge prioritizing ruggedness and customization.
Hey, it’s been a year. How was the bag? Im really interested in classic looking messenger/brief/backpack hybrid? Was it any good? Do you still use it often/has it held up?
@@farlowella77 I am a bit skeptical on the quality, as people reported loosed threads and seams. Plus, they shipped the bags with GCC zippers instead of YKK. Is this the case for you? Thank you
This bag has a few annoyances. The front dump pocket is best accessed in briefcase-mode, but the laptop section is best accessed in backpack mode. There is no backpack-mode handle. As others mentioned, no luggage pass-thru.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We can understand how the different access points in the bag may cause some inconvenience. It's good to know that the front dump pocket is best accessed in briefcase-mode, while the laptop section is best accessed in backpack mode. However, the lack of a backpack-mode handle and luggage pass-thru can make it challenging to use the bag for travel. Based on your feedback, it seems that the Everyman Hideout 5-Way Commuter Pack may not be the best choice for someone who frequently travels with a backpack. However, it could still be a good option for someone who primarily uses it as a briefcase or for everyday commuting.
Yes, the Everyman Hideout 5-Way Commuter Pack should generally comply with budget airline carry-on size restrictions. However, it's always a good idea to check the specific dimensions and weight limitations of the airline you're flying with to ensure it meets their requirements. The Hideout is designed to be versatile and convenient for travel, including use on budget airlines.
This bag picks up a tremendous amount of fluff. Perhaps it's just my version? Idk. If anyone else has this bag, what's your experience with this? Any reccs on how to decrease this, like with any finishing sprays or the like?
@@jgsk78 I like brief mode best, but also like backpack and over the shoulder mode. Depends on the situation. The straps are a little cheap feeling, but haven't been uncomfortable when I've loaded it out.
Nope! It absolutely picks up EVERYTHING! It is a MAGNET BAG! I literally have to carry a lint roller to get rid of all the lint/hair/debris/pet hair/blanket fleece.... everything you can think of! This bag is great otherwise but really wish it didn't attract everything!
@@retrovelcro even with this negative wouod you still recommend this bag? I’m very tempted as it looks very nice for business or smart look with the option to backpack on public transport
You can use it as a backpack, a messenger bag, a sling pack, briefcase or clutch. Crossing my fingers that they'll add a luggage pass-through if ever they'll make an update version of this. Cheers!
Hi Leandro! I've checked and used the link and it seemed to have worked fine. Can you check again please? bit.ly/emhideout5waycommuter Thank you! - Rolan
It's like how the US uses the imperial system compared to the metric system. It's the same thing, just different in how it's being represented by different groups of people.
Great review what other back packs would you recommend that have multiple ways to carry

I purchased one bag because of your test. It's a great bag and I'll test it myself next week. Thank you for your videos 😊

I am really curious to know how it held up! I have seen mixed opinions
I tested the bag for going to the office several times. Works fine, but not all my stuff fits inside. Used in messenger mode.

Wow the bag is awesome.
Really great.

Boo yaaa more excellent bag content!! Rush faster doing their thang!!! “ bows in appreciation for the top notch content”

Really nice bag! Just a thing, the background music has a noise (sounds like a recorder?) that's VERY distracting
Thanks for the support! Regarding the background music, is it the vocals you're referring to?
- Ed
I thought the same too lol. I think I heard the background music repeat like 7-10x in the video.

no luggage pass-thru killed this thing for me. Sad, it was close to be perfect.
Ruins everything
Ever taken it on a budget airline?

@@RushfasterTV same it says safari cant open the page because the server cannot be found.
This seems clumsy AF in execution.
What's aluminium? You mean aluminum? To me it looks like they cheaped out on the straps, totally turns me off the bag.
