Q regarding hypertrophy: how many sets per muscle per session before you hit junk volume? and how often per week? assuming you go to failure in your working sets. i heard its 5 for beginners and about 8 for intermediate, and you want to hit every muscle twice per week
Being in my mid 50's I only do the Arnold press very slow reps. I'm not about body building but more to look great without my shirt. I've been wanting to experience TRT but my doctor says my testosterone levels are of a young man so I'll be patient.

Depends on several factors, age, sleep, are you really pushing it hard, generics. I would start slow and see how you feel.
Are you increasing the weight each set?
Yes a bit, as long as I’m hitting the reps I’m trying to do.
