I flew Taipei to Amsterda just 4 weeks ago. This flight also involved a 1.5 hour stop-over in Bangkok. This airline is a true gem. I have flown them many times and they are consistently outstanding. Much better than the European airlines on this route. In economy you can either have a 3-3-3 or 3-4-3 configuration on flights to Europe. The slightly older 777-300ER planes in use have the 9 abreast. It is a little hit or miss. Legroom in economy is great though at 33-34 inch. Roomier than the competition. Food is great, but focussing more on the Asian dishes. Eva Air is my preferred airline for flights to Asia. Thanks for your report. I enjoyed it.
How was seat selection charged? Would it be charged for the first leg to BKK then another seat selection for BKK to TPE or is it under 1 bracket of long haul seat selection cost?
@@dedonghuang7026Goodmorning, If you book a flight direct to TPE they will charge you and book you for the whole flight in the same class. I,e, you book premium economy to TPE and fly to TPE in premium economy, no matter that you make a technical stop in BKK. If you don't want that for some reason you have to book AMS - BKK in premium economy and BKK - TPE in economy. Or any other combination, of course. In case of a non-standard travel request simply call EVA Air. I hope this helps.
luggage limit is 23kg/bag, u can check 2 bags so its 46 kg in total (economy class). carry-on is around 7 kg but usually they dont check so as long as u dont take too much stuff with u onboard ur going to be just fine
The layover was around 12 hours long (night). The hotel or any accomodation was not includes in the ticket. I booked an airport hotel but all in all it was still a cheap ticket with the hotel costs on top.
From what I've seen so far it's defenitely one of the best meals. I had 4 meals on my trip with them and all were super delicious and it also was a good portion.

I'd like to see you review a WestJet flight from either Seoul Incheon or Tokyo Narita to Canada.
I would love to review many more airlines in future. I will keep WestJet in mind😉.

EVA certainly have very good looking meals for econ class. Do they offer the best (or one of the best) econ class meals?

I selected my seat in the online check-in 24h before departure which means I didn't pay at all. So I am not 100% sure about this.
