Idk why not many people have noticed but Ramon's posing got worse from the Olympia
Ramon when he is on, he is very dangerous. He is full, complete, and have very little lacking parts. Wesley is ok overall, but I don’t like his waist line, lacks a lot vtaper. Ramon is the perfect physique a gym goer would want. Wesley when he is on, he is good. But there is still something missing from the puzzle

Hard to say, but i feel that Classic these days seem to represent the Lee Haney era of bodybuilding, where it seems to be more inline with the 80s, not really the golden era, the 70s. This may be a weird opinion, but I think that the guys in classic, if the judging criteria is solely to look like the 70s (or at least a modern day version), having a too small waist doesn't really fit. Look back at the golden era of bodybuilding, many of those guys didn't have a crazy waist ratio, in fact, the father of aesthetics himself, Frank Zane, just knew how to pose, and I think his waist was fairly large (compared to the judging criteria for modern day classic). You definitely do have outliers such as Robby. Super odd, cause I think that Wesly looks like he belongs in the goldern era, while I feel that the judges are rewarding guys who are more inline with the 80s. If I had to guess, I feel that Wesley's victory may set a new standard of what is more inline with the golden era.
Lee Haney was part of the golden era. The mass monster era began with Dorian Yates.
And no, there's no "new standard". The classic physique standard is still Cbum and nobody else. Strong legs, glutes, proportional physique.

I was very happy to see Wesley get his due though. Criminally overlooked for past 2 years.
I think what a lot of people get wrong is that Wesley didn’t improve as much as everybody’s thinks. It’s more the judging criteria that has changed wich I think was needed in classik since the division has been kinda stale for the last 2 years.
I agree, there wasn't enough personal change in Wesley's physique to have Wesley all of the sudden leapfrogging from 7th, to, on paper, 2nd in the world. There must be something else going on

Ramone midsection is unmatched and may even be better than cbum
While I do prefer Wesley over all as a look, and even with his awful posing, this Ramone would stomp Wesley. Sorry Wesley. I love you and your structure but Ramone was fucking on point here. He had shots he did take from cbum in my opinion. The abs and thighs especially
Ramon is such an indifferent poser. I feel he doesn't have a single WOW shot. He's not a bad bodybuilder but there's nothing standout either I feel. I do like the guy but it doesn't surprise me he's been usurped by Wesley now. You do need a little bit of x factor to succeed at the top of the sport and I feel he just doesn't have it.
His forearms are pretty wow and also his waist is really small. He should use that. Do some Sergio Oliva classic posing or something like that
I prefer Wesley just because of his stage presence and posing. Ramon needs to fix that or Wesley will pass him up.

Wesleys waist and legs are so bad that its just crazy that he won for only his upper body domination
Classic is about propotions, aesthetic and about how the line of the body flows and not about muscle mass which Wesley is clearly allowed to have more of tham the others because of his height.
I'm with you on that, from the front I don't mind them, but the rear is abysmal. His hams don't exist and the glutes are lacking big time. Hate his ribcage too

@@projectbodybuilding Thats so sad. Thats how you create little freaks with physiques that look like a kiteshield. Look at Hadi Choopan, the supposedly greatest body in the world has no calves, no forearms and is simply ugly. Thats what this criteria breeds and creates

Im sorry But for years now people like Ramon urs and Chris have been dominating classik physique and now Wesley shows up and beats many of the guys without that much improvement actually. That means that the judging criteria has changed a lot. He is just trying to follow those criteria’s and is not hating on Ramon.
