The second thing is, I hope you fabricate custom skins and flairs for the Laymo body. Your attention to detail will make this an awesome vehicle.

Suggestion: Get a small portable air blower. The round type they hook vents to air out buildings when they get flooded but get the really small one. They blow hard are very small, have a handle and would be perfect for this situation. I worked in bathrooms for years(often really hot especially when customer won't turn on the air.) I put that fan in the hallway blowing into the bathroom and it is like night and day. Just switch off when making alot of dust so you don't get blown out lol. Excited to see the Laymoo get a facelift!

I worked for a limo manufacturer and watching this brings back memories. I would say it most likey rotted out from years of water leaking from the roof/sunroof. Those vinly tops are notorious for getting a small rip then just holding water and rotting the roof. If that was built by Royale Limousine then it was accredited by Ford and built to thier standards. The 10 tubes of caulking was legit, so many customers would come in with a leak and say they tried caulking. I would drill a fews drain holes in the bottom of that panel and call it a day because they didnt want to pay to have it fixed the right way.

Las Vegas stretch-limo's...meh...yours can be cooler if you think outside the box a little bit. What about using stainless steel sheeting to rebuild the sides and prevent future rusting? Needs to have a Gull Wing set up on both sides with a roll cage in order to make it open for shows and safe for crawling and highway.
Run down to your local metal working shop. Have them duplicate the two sides. Seal the metal surfaces, screw'em on and be done with it.
Leave the 'chrome' off for a monochromatic Laymo.
The side panels can have some dark lexan cut for them to use as signage for shows or the shop.

How about building a tube cage to the frame and sheathing the rig with white canvas or nylon fabric. That way it can be a convertible, off-road limo. The fabric could have snaps and straps that could easily be removed and it could provide passengers a more immersive ride and experience. Instead of rebuilding the A-pillar, a folding Jeep windshield could be cool, too.

we put the fronts of the rears against the front doors and vice versa than put sheetmetal in between (overlap up to the edges and weld )
as for the roof . we used a replacement part full roof that we cut the front and rear off before welding it in , with the limo you might be better off using a few roofs off an van ans section those intoo 4 quarters welded together to make them fit
