  • Edith Russell (née Rosenbaum), a first-class passenger on the Titanic, tells of her experience of Titanic’s collision with the iceberg and how she survived the sinking after a crew member tossed her toy pig into a lifeboat.
    This interview originally aired as part of an unknown documentary from British Pathé in 1970.

    At the time of the sinking Edith was 32 yesrs old she was supposed to be 33 but her birthday was on june and titanic sank in April🙂🐖👩‍🦱

    She is very Right there is no way that the band played til the end! the ship was going down everything was a a kilt so the band had to be holding on to things certainly not their music instruments !

    Isnt the violin found in perfect (Nearly perfect condition) evidence they quit playing before the ship was full under atleast long enough to pack up the violin lol
