Why it does't work on sony m4 aqua 5.1
You are telling me that this method works, but I need to unlock bootloader first. You are also telling me that I need to back up keys or something xD I'm so confused... Answer if ya can xD
Works on Sony Xperia E1 D2105 - but with some oddities (two hangs, the third time had to launch SuperUser from the notification icon -> Home and THEN the checker and finally it shows all ok).
Goes to 100% on Sony Xperia E1 D2105. Added a SuperUser system (not uninstallable ) App and additional one at notifications area, containing CPU temperature, wifi etc.
But when I try to check root using Root Checker Basic, no root. Then I open the SuperUser, it flashes no root and then quickly turns to green - Have Root. Tabing back to checker, same result no root.
Then when I press on the Have Root screen to manage the rights, it turns white and then black and renders phone unresponsive!!!!
Only way out was to remove the battery and then turn back on!
the same repeats when I tried again to see whether anything changed.
Oh and now the third time when first clicking the notification icon and then by it SuperUser being opened. After that run checker now it finally asks for permission, allowed, granted and shows fine.
So basically works, but with some uncertainity at first.

Hello Doctor Thanks for your reply, yesterday i just fallow DRM Keys Backup everything is fine, even i permit the finger print than also i allow root access, Backup-TA request mobile after allow immediate i receive message at shell root not authorized i tried 9.7 and and 9.11 both are same 9.7 bring me at the menu but after that i get failed due to some root issue, may i need to change the king-root version for xperia Z2 (D6503) i have this issue DRM keys with king root authorization failed

Application doesnt work at all. It asks for debugging access and thats it. Nothing more.
Yeah, same here with my XA2. It keeps saying 'please enable USB Debugging mode', even though I've already done that.
(edit:) I was pulling the cable in and out a bunch of times, and out of the blue, the program picked up and flashed 'root.' But it hit me with a 'root fail' message after a couple of seconds, and that was the end of the show, unfortunately.

Hello, with the Sony Xperia Play, it’s a 2011 old phone. It doesn’t support newer software and the play store doesn’t work. If I try this method will it work if I install the root to my Xperia play ? Will everything work ?

It's been so long I don't really remember so good if I remember correctly you 1st unlock bootloader then backup the DRM KEYS Because rooting will cause u to loose the DRM KEYS forever so they need to be backed up b4 rooting

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. The rooting was successful but my tablet failed to have the SuperUser App other than the two. I proceeded to test the Root Checker Basic and it failed. Is there something else i can do. My tablet is Sony Xperia Z SGP312 model

@@TheRealAndroidDoctor After my complaint, i did some research and hacking and realized i needed to unlock then Bootloader first.i finally got that and just tried the kingo root again. i got all the apps and the root checker is positive. I must confess I've tried other videos to upgrade my Sony Xperia Z tablet SGP312 from Android 5 to 8, 9 or 10. Is there another video you have that seem to attempt this for a Sony or this type? I seem to flow with your videos and thanks very much

Hello Doctor you doing grade work and thanks for the Helping videos, i have Z2 Camera not working when i press camera receive the error camera not connected or unfortunately camera has stooped, from 6.0.1 i downgraded fallow by your guide it was done grade but even after downgrade my camera is giving same error in hardware test it tells that the camera is not connected, well now i am gonna root the device then will go through your guide for Oreo 8.1 if any advice kindly appreciated

Darko Lazarevski. The m4 Aqua simply isn't popular enough. No that many people even buy it, nobody makes a root method for this device or anything. Even Sony itself have forgotten about it because they barely send updates to it and they keep saying "we will release android 6.0 (sometime)" But they never do, (They've been saying that for 4-5 month now). I hate this phone and I should've bought some other phone like the z2 or z1. Now I am stuck with it because my parents say I am not allowed to upgrade it for another 3-4 years :'(
