      It happens all the time when I put together a video and then news happens after I've already filmed it. Just the nature of the business.

    The pink elephant in the room that everybody ignores, is the fact that Larry McReynolds, Dave Moody and everybody else you hear on NASCAR radio is at the very least, indirectly paid by NASCAR. NASCAR owns channel 90 and whether people know it or not, controls what comes out of everybody's mouths. If NASCAR would go away tomorrow, a huge portion of all the media members would be looking for jobs. This includes everyone on NASCAR radio, Kyle Petty, Dale Jarrett along with all the broadcasters who rely on NASCAR for their broadcasting. We should all be aware of this just as we should understand that all media, whether sports related is going to show bias in its reporting. This is sad but true.

      Given that the channel is called "NASCAR radio" it should be self evident, but I remember being a little surprised to learn that the sat radio programming is 100% a NASCAR enterprise. Essentially an infomercial for the France family. Usually, when something is ad content, there is some sort of disclaimer. Never heard one on NASCAR radio. But certainly they are to NASCAR as Pravda was to the old USSR.

    Best part about Joey winning 3 championships is JGR kicked him out.

    • @cmoore185
      @cmoore185 День назад

      That isn't esactly true. Tony Stewart did a great job for Home Depot. He was shown building houses for Habitat for Humanity. Joey could not do anything that helped Home Depot, so they did not renew their sponsorship. Joey was not anywhere near as marketable as a 19 year old as he was at 27, married with a family. Joe Gibbs no more kicked him out than any other team that let a driver go because they could not find the $20,000,000 a year to sponsor him. In His first 183 Joey won 3 times in top equipment. Big money sponsors were not coming out of the woods wanting to drop a ton of money on him. When Matt Kenseth came to JGR to replace him, he was much more marketable and whether we like it or not. Professional sports is a business, nothing more and nothing less.

      Given the number of top flight drivers that left JGR, you can't accuse the Coach of being a great judge of racing talent.

    I think it's such a feather in your cap for you and your show mentioned on Sirius. Although I think they should have done some homework and mentioned you by name. I'm very proud of you. As journalists, they should have figured that out. Larry Mac seems to have a grudge with 23X1. Either that or he's biased on NASCAR. And finally, your interview with Tommy Joe was really well done as are all of your interviews. You have smart questions and you let them answer without cutting them off. Very refreshing. As usual, excellent job Kyle.

    This law suit has caused me to loose all respect for Larry Mac. He never sees anything wrong with what NASCAR does. Larry is locked into NASCAR's teat with death grip.
    NASCAR looses no money by letting 2 very good teams with tons of fans compete with their charters while the suit plays out. That they appeal that decision, is NASCAR protection their monopolistic power for the sake of protecting their power. They are demonstrating exactly what they are being sued for. Because the 2 teams didn't knuckle under to the Friday night extortion, NASCAR wants to invalidate their current charters and also, by the same act, invalidate Haus's charters. If the 2 teams (Front Row and 23xi) had signed the Charters they couldn't sue NASCAR for the extortion attempt.
    NASCAR is a monopoly and must be reorganized into something that makes sense. Teams being indentured servants and loosing money to NASCAR does not. It's the tail wagging the dog. NASCAR is zero, zip, nadda without the teams. The teams are NOT NASCAR's property but you wouldn't know it by how things happen within the sport. They have to race NASCAR's car and only in NASCAR's races, by NASCAR's rules unless NASCAR decides they don't want to go by precedent, or the word of some rule that's now inconvenient and do something different.
    Example: When Austin Dillon won the Daytona 500, he plowed the rear of Almorola's car at least 50 MPH faster than he slammed Lagano at Richmond in 2024. But NASCAR never said Boo about it because at the time, Dillon was the flavor of the day. In 2024, NASCAR didn't want Dillon in the Playoffs so they called the much less offending "bump" illegal enough to not be counted as win and your in, but didn't take the win away. Cockeyed logic, but what a power play, no question who is keeping fingers on the scale, which side has unquestionable power and can make up rules as they go. Keep in mind, Roger Penske is Lagano's team owner, and oh by the way, owns Indy, Michigan, and Fontana, but oh no, no, no conflict of interest there. Monopoly...End it.

      If you go by the standerd being used on nascar that it's a Monopoly because it's the "only major stock car racing" series in the country then indy car, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and f1 are all Monopolys. It's a stupid standerd. To say you can't race any whare else because no one else runs nascar cup cars and thare for nascar is a Monopoly is ridiculous mc Donald's has a Monopoly on cheeseburgers because I can't get a mc Donald's cheeseburger any whare but mc Donald's. F1 has a Monopoly because whare else can you race f1 cars it's a stupid standerd and argument.

    • @antoniestrada1972
      @antoniestrada1972 18 часов назад

      @@robertstone9988 Your argument is a bit misguided. Monopolistic means having or trying to have complete control of something, especially an area of business. f1 Doesn't own the The tracks cars or Sanctioning body or other Racing series. Indycar car doesn't own the cars and Apart from a couple of tracks doesn't own the majority of the race tracks and Again doesn't own other racing series. Nascar owns the majority of the tracks and the other half a company that they work with closely. NASCAR owns the cup car ip they own ARCA and imsa

    • @robertstone9988
      @robertstone9988 18 часов назад

      That's not the argument being made tho and the FIA runs f1 like the mob don't give bs that it's not a Monopoly. F1 is a play to play cool kids club and your not invited. They are saying it's a Monopoly because they don't have the option to race nascar cup cars at nascar cup tracks in any other series thare for nascar has a Monopoly on professional nascar cup car racing. If that's the standerd we are using than indy car f1 most definitely have a Monopoly. Whare else in wht other series can I race f1 cars professionally at f1 tracks? You can't. I personally thank 23 11 is right about nascar being greedy but it's there ball and there feald and if you don't like it go race a different series. Nascar has no say in indy car, super car, btc, wrc, super bikes, or moto cross. Like I said if you get super Pacific than any series is a Monopoly. You can get a chees burger any whare, burger King dosnt have a Monopoly because you can only get a whopper thare.
