Now that is what I call getting off the rig and ready to attack fire. Great work gentlemen. 👏
Couldn’t agree more
LuisF7moago🇱🇷
You should NOT be getting off the truck with your mask and helmet already on. It's a safety hazard. You can't see well, and having the weight of your helmet on in the truck greatly increased the risk of a neck injury in a crash. This is basically a dumpster fire on wheels.
The fireman operating the hose did a great job. Many people don't know how much latent heat is in a burning tire. It takes a long time to cool one down enough so that it won't reignite a few seconds later.
This is the kind of action that makes citizens proud to have great fire services.
coming off the rig ready to go to work, thats how you do it. No screwing around putting you mask and gloves on. Well done.
TRFD doesn’t mess around!
Hey there bro, It's me from my main channel.
Excellent footage. You got an absolutely GOLD location to film from! FFs did a great job on this.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
How many chiefs, engines and trucks does it take to extinguish a simple car fire with zero exposure risk?
Yeah. Ridiculous.
Yeah that’s pretty homosexual approach for a simple car fire..
Better safe than sorry.
Two fire chiefs sitting in their units 🤷🏻♂️
Love the business sign in the background. "Superior Driving School"
AWESOME footage, that thing was rocking!!
Thanks bud!
The one thing car fires like this are good for is drilling. If they're far enough away from exposures and no entrapments they are a good drill for response speed. I've seen station captains time car fire responses before just to see what shape their crews are in.
Geee, he attacked that fire like my fat behind does a Chinese Buffet. He was there to do a job and doing it he was. Excellent
SCBA been used corectly!!!!!!!!!!!! that is the first video that I have seen from the US doing so.
good work on the crew and training dept at getting the message across on SCBA at fire grounds.
No nonsense is what I'm talking about. Great job boys way to put the fire out.
TY for posting, your content is very valuable to VFX artists
Hopefully my content is not being used without permission
@@demonracer2 I think he means the real-life explosions are a good reference
Firefighters are awesome ..
That'll buff right out.
Two Chiefs, Two Engines and an Aerial to a car fire, what a waste of resources, here in the UK one fire engine would have been sent.
No one told me there was a fire sale.🤣🤣
3 rigs and 2 chiefs for a car fire?
Yes, volunteer department. 1&1 and or 2&1 is pretty standard for NJ
@@demonracer2 It's interesting to see how different depts handle call types. If it's vollie, I'm guessing the rigs are not fully staffed with 4 members initially? At our dept, a car fire would tap just one engine (we're city/paid with 4 members per rig) unless it was impinging on a structure.
@@suffer247 yeah man power really does depend on the time of day and if it’s a work day, but I personally think a 2&1 response is ok especially since the truck company and other engine easily could have left if something came in
Хорошая работа! Успехов автору канала. 🇱🇻 🇪🇺
nice work love from the uk ❤️
The pressure is clearly too high on that line, it's a car fire, you don't need that much pressure. You also don't need to be right up in the car until you knock it down, a air bag actuator to the face is going to hurt even with your mask on. Slow down and be SAFE. You're not saving anything here, that car is going straight to the scrapyard. There's also no need for a second engine and a ladder....
I'm glad the second engine used their siren to park.
Well, the red car, and orange flames matched nicely...
Do they really need to be 1 foot away to put it out
yes they do the cars tires were popping glass was popping any part of that car can become a projectile and can hurt a firefighter
@@thomaschodak6880 so it's better to stand as close as possible, why not just sit in the car and put it out. Pop the hood and lay on the engine
Since most thing that go pop are inside the body they need to get in tight to cool the tires, shocks ect so they do not explode.
For as quickly as they knocked down the fire, it's obvious that they knew what they were doing and had the training to get the job done..
Those are the most realistic hot rod flames I’ve ever seen painted on a car!
I know where that is. I've walked from there back to my house off old hooper. Otherwise just leaving a comment for my 10 year old he's autistic and even though loud noises bother his ears. He still enjoys your videos for the last few years. His favorite is the wildwood gas fire
Happy to hear my videos are able to bring some calm and enjoyment to your son, tell him I appreciate him and you supporting my channel!
It´s fortunate this car wasn´t in a crowded parking lot, hard to access by the fire engines
That first engine arrived ready love to see it
Superior Driving School in the background 🤣😂
RIP driver...
No injuries
Great footage! Here before this goes viral!
Thanks so much! Let’s hope it goes viral, youtube has not been recommending my videos lately though so they really have not been getting many views sadly
Fastest knockdown fer sure😊
Quick work definitely
You should see the Nordic countries: ruclips.net/video/J-LgexzU0Vw/видео.html
Two engines and a truck for a simple car fire with no structures in danger. Do they duck hunt with machine guns there?
I have that identical Sable with the 24V 200hp engine. 33,000 miles it's a beaut.
i’m sitting in my sable watching this rn🥲🤣
I thought that was a Pontiac because of the grille...
@@matthewpaanotorres7309
The door panels are a dead giveaway that’s a Sable or Taurus
Good work!
Firefighters are so patriotic…love how y’all displated to huge American flag using the ladder trucks! Great video! Question: Noticed the burning car was parked by a driving school….sure hope it wasn’t their’s. Talk about a “fire sale” to close a business….
The car was not related to the driving school
Nice cam quality. 🇬🇧 👍
Thank you so much!
Nice knock down
yeah that's cooking!..
It sure was!
Very good job 👌 👍
Great video
Thank you!
only if cars came with fire sprinklers
I think it will buff out
To the people who criticize...Ever been called to a car fire. Then find out the car is inside the garage.....and the garage is attached to the house and.....get my meaning. Send the rigs. They have radios to communicate. It is not a waste of tax payer monies. If the apparatus is not needed they will communicate that. Consider it driver training. Started my volunteering in 1970. My opinion this was a 👍 knock down. Stay safe.
Well it was obvious when the first truck turned up that it was a single vehicle but 2 more turned up so they obviously didn't communicate. The dispatcher taking the call should be gathering the information and send the relevant amount of resources. Obviously they didn't.
@@andyoxleyonhistravels I do not know what was communicated and you do not either. No harm no foul....
@@pipesmoker4238 Waste of resources.
@@andyoxleyonhistravels So which Fire Dept do you belong to
@@pipesmoker4238 I've just retired after 25 years. You guys do send an awful lot of resources to some very simple stuff. In the UK standard pda for vehicle fire is 1 appliance. More than enough to deal with the job. 3 trucks ?
Waste of resources.Never been called to a car fire which turned out to be in a garage. Call takers ask questions and send relevant resources. It's pretty simple stuff. If your standard is 3 appliances then perhaps some of your pda's are a bit outdated.
Looks like the air bag went off.
Just got done with my test at Superior Driving School....😟😟
I think they can fix this one at the local autobody shop!! Maybe repaint the hood, and reupholster the front seats, replace a couple of hoses under the hood??
Toms river seems to get a lot of fires.
There was a handful of car fires within a month or so
κανονικά τα αυτοκίνητα πρέπει να έχουν αυτόματη πυροσβεση στην θέση του κινητήρα για σιγουριά
Decent, Jimmy, decent!
I lost my car due to someone parking their pile of junk next to mine at a supermarket, I lost a '86 Chevy Monte Carlo SS, very Beautiful car, it became toast!!! This is why I park away from other vehicles, that's smoking, like valve cover oil leaks or a strong stench of gas!!! My Uncle's Lincoln Town Car caught fire 2 days after purchase, BRAND SPANKIN' NEW, faulty power steering pressure hose, SMH!!!
Guess the car owner failed the test at the Superior Driving School.
Thought I heard small cal ammo going off, then some larger ones
Brake calipers, shocks, battery and other things go pop.
what camera do u have?
Looks like the car is a heavy smoker.
2:41 water hammer. Shut the nozzle too quickly.
oof that fire is going good hope the owner got out ok
No injuries
Some of the fireman stopped by Starbucks on the way to the fire
Sir I'm sad to say you've failed your driving test 😂
Superior driving school instructor
There's nothing like a nice roaring campfire. Poor old Taurus (I think? Or is it a Contour/Mystique?
Mercury Sable
You would think this is an "engine can handle" situation.... Apart from that, there is no need whatsoever to start extinguishing the fire and almost crawl into the burning vehicle. Keeping some distance is much safer.
Absolutely Marc , no need to be that close until you have put the fire out. Watch the 2 explosions before they start firefighting, both would have caused injury.
Mayhem
In New Jersey
Correct
If they were aney
😢😢😢
I am watching from Elmira NY they attacked that fire as soon as they got off the fire engine
Great catch i muted the auto cuz i dont like explosion's much
Thank you for watching still!
@@demonracer2 Np
The nozzleman would have struggled a whole less if he stopped using the pistol grip and got the nozzle out in front of him. Best thing to do is take a hacksaw to that pistol grip.
Great video. The only thing I seen was one of the ff didn't have his buckle buckled on his air pack.
So fucking what
@@davidrogers6287 The straps on the airlock unless fastened can become a something that traps a firefighter if it gets snagged.
coolant people, coolant oh and oil, oil people, oil.....
😢
obviously a electric car fire LOL
Great God look at that car it's on fire how did that happen
Too late
I think you really should start adding reels on your firefighting trucks over there. This is how we do it in the Nordic countries: ruclips.net/video/J-LgexzU0Vw/видео.html
Demonracer my girlfriend lives in Burlington nj she firefighter
Made in china
Bit of a resource overkill, 3 fire engines (of which 2 didn’t do anything) and 2 chiefs. And yet only 3 people actually dealt with the fire.
