Thank you so much for this video series. I love it. I have a PhD in chemistry and have never had the experience of scientific glass blowing.

It’s one of my favorite things to do, so I’m glad to be sharing it, I have a lot to get to. Thanks you for the kind word.

Hey is it possible to contact you?
Found your channel a few days ago and I am looking through your glassblowing tutorials. I absolutely love this videos. I work in a lab but I usually don't need special handmade glassware so we don't have a scientific glassblower. I made some ampulles from testtubes to store some chemicals like Bromine that's how I started my love for glasswork. I love glassblowing and want to start it as a hobby. I used a classic bunsenburner at work for the ampulles but it takes long to heat the glass.
I found the burner that you showed in the previous video for about 250€. Is this price ok and is this burner recommended for beginners?
Could I work with compressed air or an medical oxygen generator instead of pure oxygen gas?

Hello, you can reach out to me either through my email on the about tab of the Channel or join my discord server. Glad to hear you are joining the hobby! Keep you eye out on eBay for torches, you can normally get some good deals. A lot can go into the price, make sure the tubes at the front a are clean and straight also look for corrosion, or burn out. You can’t use compressed air but you can use an oxygen concentrator.
