- Andrew Tate has been released and put under house arrest after months in a Romanian prison on suspicion of organised crime and human trafficking.
The British influencer, his brother Tristan and two Romanian women have been in police detention since December 29 as prosecutors investigate suspected human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to exploit women.

Maybe it would be nice to be aware of the legal terminology used in different jurisdictions. 1) US charge = EU accusation. 2) US indictment = EU charge. So, using US legal language he has been charged in a process that is similar to one in the US.

Judges have reviewed some of the evidence. No one knows what evidence prosecutor holds in 17.000 pages thick case file, not even Tates' lawyers. So, saying that there is no evidence is not a correct claim. I agree, that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but the same principle must be applied both to Tates and the actions of Romanian authorities. (Let's leave the conspiracy theories to 12 years olds.)
