Mr. Bernal, could you share your insights on how to get started on learning caligraphy and using those concepts to improve one’s handwriting? Thank you! A video series would be great, if there is interest of course.
Good choice. Your next step should be an original Conway Stewart 58 or 27 so you can experience the difference with vintage nibs. All the best from Australia.
@@aidanbernal that explains a lot 🤣 don't let the gold nibs know they're being used on cheap flatpack else they'll block all ink flow until Homer's ancient marble desk has been installed. edged in goldleaves naturally.
I like them! By the way, I found that the Kaweco clip fits the Kyusido pen perfectly. :) Until they come up with their own, that clip would do it for me. :)
My top 5 most used this year in no particular order: Lamy 2000, Pilot Custom Heritage 92, Gravitas Pocket Pen, Franklin Christoph model 45 and Pilot Custom 823. Only the Gravitas was purchased in 2023.
Great choices! 2023 will always be a very special and significant year for me because it's the year that i started my pen making business (Samad Pen Co.). 🙂
Those are really beautiful ; I’d love to find that last one you showed. Nothing fancy, but I’ve used Lamy Scala with 14kt EF nib a lot recently . But for signatures it’s the montblanc meisterstuck M gold nib .

Very nice pens. I recently bought my first Conway Stewart. That Schon nib is on my wish list. Thanks for sharing🎉
Thank you! Congrats on the Conway Stewart. And hopefully you enjoy the Monoc if/when you get it!
Two pens stand out from my 2023 purchases, the Good Blue L130 and the Jinhao 82 .
Very nice! I have heard good things about Good Blue and the Jinhao 82 is a favorite of mine!
That teal ink is lovely and really like that big fat chunky Schon nib. Your desk is wobbling as you write, you've created an inkquake 🤣
Ha! That's the IKEA quality writing experience ;)

Very nice. Thank you
That Monoc nib is crazy. Do u know if he still makes them in broad? I only see medium and fine on his page.
I believe they were only at the show but will be in production in the future
Thankyou for sharing your joys 😊 with us! 🖊 🖋 🔏 ✒️ 🖊 😊
Hi, I just read about you in the WSJ. I have a Visconti fine nib pen. What is the best paper to write on? Thank you!
Very interesting. Sometimes it would be nice you post the links to every fountain pen.
Thanks. Some of these are not readily available (Leonardo, Schon Monoc) but I have added the others to the description.
@@aidanbernal cool, thank you,
