Talking about unlucky, running into an Alfa in the middle of nowhere with only one torpedo left. But then you end up in her baffles... Maybe you want to try playing the lottery, you might hit the jackpot.
Very nice video as always! I think that 3rd MOSS launch actually put that fish on you, they can really be a double edged sword and hurt you if the torpedo’s overshoot will be in your direction.
Also just asking because I only play with DOTmod and there’s a voice line and an animation of the towed array being deployed and I’ve missed that in your last few videos, is that a difference between base game and the mod?
@@MrSKBerrybase game towed array is automatic, not shown or animated or discussed by crew, it activates below 15kt (but not when stopped) without any delay and gets better the slower you are and needs 201 feet (61m) clearance from the sea floor, and it works like a front sonar sensor, but facing the rear.
Its TMA - Target Motion Analysis, it is the entire process of building an accurate solution from the moment of detection to the point where you have confidence level 1.

I'm a bit late Tortuga, but loving this series! It's keeping me going till Sea Power comes out.
Thanks Tortuga great job

That Aplha unwittingly displayed why you don’t put enemies in your baffles.
Fantastic job
Really like the sub games. Strange cause Dad was CVs during WWII and Korea. Great job Tortuga. PS: Are really a re-habed pirate?😂
You're basically re-enacting Tom Clancy's "SSN". :D
All hail the algorithm.
I am a little bit confused why would you choose to target a sub instead of your actual objective 😅
You are Tortuga
