Great video! These are nice little cameras, and Instax film can deliver such high quality prints, even with a simple lens. Actually, I didn’t realize they had switched to glass lenses now, that’s even better!
1) check the batteries if they are alkaline and in good condition 2) check the battery terminals and clean if needed 3) if 1 and 2 dont work, it's time to have it checked at a service center
I had e same issue. The video says use alkaline batteries which I wasn't. I replaced mine w ones that stated alkaline on them and it worked like a charm!
@@Princessm1320 mine didn’t even fall like Im really aware of taking care of my stuff I’m really mad i don’t want to pay 40 dollars to fix it but also i think i will because i need it.. Ig its my brothers entering my room playing with my stuff they probably dropped it when i wasn’t home🥲💔
Hi, I bought new instax mini 11 few days ago and I tried to capture picture thru but its film coming out in contrast / black & white colour and not in natural colour. Even though i tried in natural sunlight and indoor light. Can you please help me with this or suggest any trick ?
Try pulling it out manually, it should come out with a little pull of the lens. If not, there might be some sort of jam or a problem with the spring and the whole lens cover assembly would need to be disassembled and reassembled.
Hello you probably have fixed it by now but the lens cover opens on the second layer popping up, the third layer is selfie mode and the third layer is alot harder to pop out
My camera keeps blinking too. I tried changing the batteries FROM THE INSTAX PLACE and it doesn’t even work. It just keeps flashing. I changed the film over 2 times into new films and still nothing new. I don’t know if this has to do with it, but a kid took my camera once and buried it under sand (a little bit only) but when I open the film area I see very little pieces of sand (since I cleaned it), but it still doesn’t work. I don’t understand, is my camera blinking because of an error or because of the sand? PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON HOW TO DEEP CLEAN IT EVEN IF IT MEANS BURNING ANOTHER FILM :(
Sand and salty water/salty air from the beach can damage the sensors and electronics inside the camera. Check the battery terminals first and try to clean them if necessary then put the batteries back.
Hello, ive got a similar problem where the camera works sometimes but not all the time. It starts blinking orange after I press the shutter button. Note: I've been using fresh duracell batteries so I don't think it's gonna be solved by the simple change the battery solution. I have dropped it but only 3ft and it was in its case inside my backpack. There are some pits pinging about when I shake the device, but not sure if this is normal wires bouncing about. Thank you
Intermittent problems mean there's some short circuit or loose contact in the electronics. A small drop, even from 3ft can damage these cameras, there's tons of small fragile parts inside.
I had the same issue but I found out why. Once you place in a new set of film in the camera, your first picture will be that black cover that covers the film. This black prevents the film to be exposed to light. After you print out the black cover, DO NOT open the lid and DO NOT pull out the film because it will be exposed to light. If your film is exposed to light, then all of your films will turn white. So do not open the lid of your camera once you place in new film
yay, new post. i don't have an instax but this is still interesting to watch.

I just bought new batteries and film but I get a flashing light and it won't take a pic or even reset the counter what do I do

Please I change my battery and is start blinking light when I press the shutters, please what do I do?
Did you fix the problem because I have the same issue
Me too and I bought new film. I called the company and they said it cost $40 to fix 💀 I’m taking it to Best Buy hopefully they can fix it

Try taking pictures in softer light, and maybe cover the flash.
You should buy a different film for coloured pictures
Hi is there any other solutions for the last problem (lens cover wont open)?
Because my mini 11 lens only opened when I use the selfie mode.
Try pulling it out manually, it should come out with a little pull of the lens. If not, there might be some sort of jam or a problem with the spring and the whole lens cover assembly would need to be disassembled and reassembled.

thank you this makes so much sense
Hi! What if the light keeps on blinking after I pressed the shutter button? then no film comes out. thanks!
Change the batteries with new alkalines, do it while lens is open.

Hello, I made sure my camera shutter was open but my photos still turned out all black. Could there be any other reason why?
possibly shutter failure or there's something causing the shutter itself to not open
But what if my mini 11 brings completely white photos out?
White photos are a sign that the camera has been opened while loaded, it's totally white because it was exposed to too much light.
@@GoneWithFilm it works again, Tysm!
@@GoneWithFilmplz help i changed so many reels but still its white photos only what do i do

what about full white pictures?
