Lovely boat. I had a yacht and the stove caught fire , before I knew it the flames were 2 feet tall. I had to think quickly and put it out with an extinguisher, you can't waste any time with fibreglass.
simon devlin Generator in the engine room. Unfortunately they didn't have all of the interior hatches closed, so the smoke damage was extensive throughout the entire vessel. Leaving all the compartments open gave the fire enough oxygen to build in intensity allowing the fire to break thru the main deck. She was just under the amout to be a total loss due to the extent of damage to her mechanicals, wiring, soft goods, smoke damage, deck damage, and plumbing. She was striped naked and rebuilt. Essentially a new yacht.

The passengers couldn't leave until the captain abandoned ship. It's a Greek tradition.
That was a lucky save....from small to medium size, they burn easily from seeing videos....sorta' like an RV.
