As a young man who grew up around violence, it really does make me see it from a different way watching these videos. I could have been one of these people smoked, if I didn’t spend a year in a training school. But now when I watch these videos of “blixy bruce” reminds me why I will never pick one up in a act of retaliation. Now as I always hear him talk about I have built something for myself more then guns, money, and drugs but instead a future. Honestly watching these videos just makes me truly realize that I can be more then just a statistic. You may never read this but I truly do thank you Bruce because your words may not have changed my ways but keeping me on the right path.

It's funny, I chilled out when I started carrying. When I was just walking around with a blade I was begging for issues
that's why some people don't carry or are against it, because when you have a weapon you want to use it so you feel it was useful, but a lot of the time when it's used it's for an event that was 100% able to be avoided.

Amazing and insightful video, you're the best Bruce! I was caught up in bullshit like this for 3-4 years, with using and selling drugs. Felt like I was an invincible badass, until an overdose had me on the floor not breathing and vomiting, had a near-death experience that day, May 2nd, 2019.
Life is precious, it's not worth it cutting life short, seen too many young kids dying from senseless violence or drug overdoses/drug dealing, makes me fucking sad. Peace and love all.

He doesn't sound sad as he says it, in fact, he's laughing and playing it off, but as someone who used Percocet for a while, it hit me pretty rough. I don't think he's come around to how negative that coping strategy is, and that pain is going to have to be dealt with in a real way other than drugs and revenge killings, so long as one of those things don't get him killed before he gets the chance.
I wish the guy the best. I really don't like to hear about young folk dying from fucking around with opiates. I could have been one of them, so goddamned easily.
