I bought one of these bases about 2 months ago and to say I was impressed would be an understatement!!! It has a lovely deep and warm rounded P style sound but also packs that grunt and growl you would expect from a vintage P bass. A fantastic instrument with a vast amount of tonal varieties and an absolute steal for the price! Also, I own a Mexican Fender Jazz and haven't put this bass down since I've bought it. I think it's an incredible instrument and probably worth quadruple the amount you actually pay for it!
I received my PJ-74 in olympic white 3 months ago after waiting 2 months for it to be avaible and shipped to Tennessee and It's an amazing value and it looks cool in this color. I can't think of anything negetive about it. I'm an intermediate level bassist and own Fenders which this bass is not a but I could have bought 5 of these for the price of a Fender. If you're my age and remember when even mediocre gear cost a fortune, it's very hard not to just buy everything HB put out. I have a Yamaha BB614 bass and a HB fretless - both are great. One was very affordable. As to guitars, it's hard not to buy everything they put out. Great for younger / new players to be able to get such excellent gear.
Just a tip: If you put "One for everything?" in the thumbnail, you should show us more than just some common tone knobs and play finger, slap and pic with at least 3 different pedals. Just take 5 1/2 Minutes instead of 3 1/2.
Mine came with super sharp fret ends. Everything else about the bass rocks except for the frets cutting into fingers when I play it. I'll have to get a fret dressing kit and file them down.
to each their own lol i love the headstock, its halfway between a music man and a prs but it suits the instruments styling and feels a bit more modern than a regular p bass
Had to sell my Fender American Professional Bass due to COVID related unemployment. I’m seriously considering replacing it with this bass.

Really warm sound clean..... Oh and then the distorted surprise at the end was a delight to my ears, nice!

these are great basses, but i cannot get past the headstock, it's just wrong in my eyes.. probably going to buy the MB4 deluxe at some point..
