My husband is a concrete guy and does a lot of pools, so if that deep end was ten feet deep the hole was much deeper. They put down gravel and then the concrete so you could add at least another foot or foot and a half to the depth of the pool before the concrete. Just a little FYI. Love your encounter stories!!

Julie Shearer - I was wondering about that. I don't have an inground pool, but I figured there would be additional depth for foundation or prep work, just like a basement that is dug for a house.

I wondered at that last encounter why she was resentful. But at the end you pretty well summed it up. And I believe you narrated it all perfectly. The first encounter was awesome 👍💯 and I'm gonna listen again. If you would tell the woman who sent it in: it's a wonderful encounter to have and to hear ♥️and I for one, appreciate how she ultimately handled the whole thing. Goes show there is still God's love everywhere. And one day I may share my encounter too. .God bless you all Nance 🌴🙏🏼🌴🙉🌳🙈🍁

Something I've been wondering lately- it's said at least some of the forest people have a language similar to (can't remember which) native people's dialect.
So that got me wondering if there's ever been any accounts of persons who met a non threatening sasquatch, "befriended" it, and learned it's "real name."
As in do they have names for each other, name their offspring, rather than recognize individuals by scent and individual characteristics/appearance?
One of the first things humans of different cultures and spoken languages do is point to themselves and tell the acquaintance your name.... I'd reckon if I met and got comfortable with a "sasquatch neighbor" that would be one of the first things I'd do upon having multiple encounters. Surely I'm not the only guy who would consider that. 🤔
Now I wish I'd tagged Nance/Buckeye Adm. in this comment.
Can't seem to "copy" a youtube comment with my phone or I'd copy/paste it as a stand alone comment to her attention.

@@yeldarbarrow3172 Not sure about that, but I notice a huge difference between the stories of bigfoot by Natives, and those by non-Natives. Usually, the Natives are cool, bigfoot is cool with them, but the non-Natives, it's usually of fear and thoughts of violence. Our people known their people for thousands of years.

Just got to listen to this on Saturday. Wonderful encounters again! I especially loved the first one. Mom Bigfoot probably heard her say "Hello" to her husband on the phone from the prior visit. And that buzzard! Makes me wonder if they are perhaps shape shifters? So cool the baby showed up in their yard! The second story- I agree with another Sassquad member that it may have been pulling out a snake from the soil in the pool. I'm glad that lady's husband at least seemed to believe her! Thanks again, Nance!

Yea I’m pretty sure they train birds. I had a very very similar experience but it was with about 5 of them. Birds circling aren’t unusual here because we have wolves etc. But this was different. It was like they were sent out to me. I was hiking in an area with deep ravines and caves and it is extremely difficult to get to that side of the Mesa. There was clearly a trail - not a game trail. It was wider and had occasional rock markers. No vehicles or hikers would ever did this place if you didn’t live up here and it’s not a place that’s easy to get to even still. I’m extremely rural in the Gila. The rocks and markers were Subtle though but I notice stuff like that. As soon as I hit this one area, these birds came up from the rock cliffs and stayed with me the entire time I was exploring up there. Then when I left, they stopped at the same area they arrived. It was very odd. There’s more but I won’t get into it here.

Nance, I just don't understand what frequently happens on your show. The individuals who choose to share with you, often comment "but if you don't want to share my experience, I understand". Like Miss Cherokee. These encounters they share are incredible! We enjoy hearing and learning from their experiences! Appreciate your encounter also Deb! Thank you all for choosing to share👍👍

    • @BuckeyeBigfoot
      @BuckeyeBigfoot  5 лет назад +2

@ Chipper aka Darla - I do understand why they say "it's okay if you don't want to share my experience" or, the one I get more often: "You may not think this is a real exciting story, but . . ."
Quite often some (not all) channels are looking for a specific type of story or encounter that fits with their views or beliefs, or they only want the action-packed stories. And that's okay - being selective for certain content has probably helped their particular channel. As a result, some people have been told their stories were not going to be put on that channel.
Me? I like to get all the encounters, and I think people that listen to this channel expect that, and don't mind if some encounters aren't nail-biters.
So, what they're worried about is if it's okay for this channel, and 99.9% are. I've only turned down maybe a half dozen in all the time since I started this channel. (Mostly because they were filled with inappropriate things - and kids DO listen to this channel)
I try to give everyone a voice. I don't investigate the encounters, and I'm no authority to say what's real and what's not. (Okay, if I ever got a story that said Bigfoot washed their dishes, vacuumed their house and folded their laundry - I would be a little skeptical - not saying I wouldn't narrate it, but I wouldn't probably label it as a True Encounter. :)

  • @theldawood80

Crows and buzzards seem to help Bigfoot. I've noticed it on my friends' Bigfoot channel where he goes out in the woods. I'll never forget the time I saw one step out behind a tree than back behind it while he was videoing.

    Great stories.
I saw 5 or 6 buzzards (turkey vultures) out back in our stand of trees. I walked out to see what they were after. There was a dead raccoon. What was weird is the area was dark due to the trees. When they all decided to fly away it was like scene from a movie. Their giant wing spread caught the air and seemed to magnify in sound as they swooped off. Not a bigfoot encounter but it was a little eerie.

I don't know if it's of any interest but the book "Call of the Great Spirit: The Shamanic Life and Teachings of Medicine Grizzly Bear" by Bobby Lake-Thom has mentions of bigfoot, as well as some birds of prey following / guiding / etc., related to Native American experience (his and his mentor's). If it's of interest to the viewers or the woman who had the encounter, they might want to check out that book. I don't find any of it fully conclusive -- things can be so subjective, and that's a good thing -- but it's interesting. Take care

Ohio has many areas that are fairly wild. I am not surprised that a creature could remain hidden if it wanted to hide. Also, the vast amounts of food available via farms and wildlife especially deer make it an advantageous place to live.

    • @BuckeyeBigfoot
      @BuckeyeBigfoot  5 лет назад +1

Mark Hansen - A lot of people unfamiliar with Ohio are surprised to discover what a good habitat it really is for something like a bigfoot. But, yes - half the state is mountainous, we have a very high percentage of home gardeners per capita, vast amounts of varied commercial crops (many that border deep forests) and it's hard to go more than a few miles without encountering some form of water, whether it's a creek, river, pond or lake.
And, yes - lots of animals to feed upon, too. It's incredible when you start looking at all the data to support something like a bigfoot to live and thrive here.

@@BuckeyeBigfoot I lived in Ohio for 5 years between 1983 and into 1989. I lived in Pickerington outside of Columbus. I did a lot of hunting in the national forests. In my travels I came across numerous ancient trails. I recall camping in one of those national forest areas and was awoken during the night by the sounds of big branches breaking. The sounds woke me but nothing more happened. Many years later I recall those sounds waking me up. At the time I attributed it to wind or just coincidence. Now, I think of it different.

HI MS. NANCE!! I hope this comment finds you well and having a good day. The 1st story was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! Having the buzzard follow her home, now that was INCREDIBLY SMART!! If ANYONE thinks these creatures aren't SUPER INTELLIGENT are sadly mistaken!! I just wonder why the Mama didn't show herself and just the little one?? I do however BELIEVE THAT THE TRAP WAS MEANT FOR THE LADY!! Which makes me wonder what the MAMA would have done to her if she fell into the trap??? 😱😱 NOW, the last story, I truly believe that the husband saw the BIGFOOT too. As far as the wife is concerned, I would have PUNCHED HER LIGHTS OUT!!! I can't stand people like that!! Just because you are paying someone to do a job for you, doesn't give you the right to TREAT THEM LIKE DIRT!!! Until next time MS. SASSYSQUACH.... 🦍👣🦍👣

I really do believe the husband saw the bigfoot at some point, too. Some people just react terribly when they are confronted with things they don't want to acknowledge. Maybe her husband had told her what he saw and she didn't believe it, and when the drapery lady said something, maybe she got mad thinking it was a joke or just refusing to believe.
And yeah, I wondered about the "booby-trapped" structure. :O

I am from montana...our first snow was almost a month ago...almost a month early this year...my sweet peas were two months late, coming up this summer...word to the wise...I think the plants are trying to tell us SOMETHING...some of the climate experts, I have listened to, not part of the government...say I mini ice age, is right around the corner...the summers will start getting shorter...and winters longer...when I think about it...we never really had a fall this year...the trees were green, then that cold and snow hit...all the leaves were dead in two days.........not much of a fall.........PEace...stay warm.......

We didn't have a fall here, either, in Southwestern Ohio. We were in the 90 degree temperatures until the second week of October. We had a few days of fall-like temps that were nice enough to open the windows, an then it turned cold enough to need the heat on.
Very, VERY odd for us. We usually have a gradual fall off of temps starting in early September that gently leads us to where we are now. But not this year - it was just WHAM!
Well, I don't know what is happening, but I know I'm not quite ready for a mini ice age. Though, I might be cool with it if the Wooly Mammoth makes a come back. :)

I've been thinking that, too, we've had a pretty mellow summer in north central Tx this year ('21) enough rain for the yard to still have healthy green grass and I've not watered the yard Once as of yet. Just hope we don't have another round of unusually cold temps, that Texas is not able to handle, like last winter!

A lot of folks when they hear stories, they credit great imagination, wild imaginations, But more often than not they are just relating what actually happened to them. More commonly they are not looking for anything other than some peace and quiet time in the woods. Then something happened they did expect so they didn't get pictures, or didn't get hair samples, so automatically they are thought of s lying, or simply trying to get attention. I am of the opinion that; Truth is Stranger than Fiction, and a lot more interesting as well. Thank you for sharing your experience. All people respond differently in times of uncertainty, so I cannot pass judgement on the validity of this experience.

I loved the first story! I believe the buzzard was a messenger for the Sasquatch. It’s very interesting how the other creatures respect and serve the squatch.😊👍👍

Sassy, i was wondering if the squatch mother's (and maybe the daughter too) life was being threatened? You had explained you felt you needed to leave yet your emotion was inexplicable and crying...i was thinking "she" picked a safe place for her young one- somehow through the help of the buzzard? Just a thought. Cool experience.

Just have to say I'm a believer I used to think it was all made up stuff, but scene I moved to Ohio I've had three times where I felt I was being watched, I'm afraid to ask my manager if they've seen it, because when I moved in she was like telling me to stay off the grass because there were snakes she was very insistent about it so I did as she asked still kinda do but I think they know it's here the Sasquatch, because even tonight they normally have their front door open lights on, but not tonight and it's a sat??? Anyway I just want to know are they harmless??

I am part Cherokee the word for them is pronounced Soo-kah-Loo which means the slant eyed giant, or Sloping giant depending on whether you are an Eastern Band Cherokee, in North Carolina, Southern Cherokee, or Keetoowah Band Cherokee or Cherokee Nation. We believe they are the masters of the wild game and can communicate with the animals and they do their bidding. The Bigfoot mother simply asked the Buzzard to watch her it probably wouldn't have happened with a Unakka what we call white people/

First story- are you kidding me? 20 feet from Bigfoot and she leisurely calls her husband on her cell and chats for a while while watching the creature like you would watch a chipmunk? It’s a 2018 story and she doesn’t think of snapping a photo but takes the time to discuss her experience with her husband at length! Her husband’s reaction is ridiculous also, he is just slightly concerned?! He then lets her go out at night by herself to hunt this creature down? Nonsense! Sorry, don’t buy it! Stories like these make a mockery of the true encounters. The comments from your readers all show satisfaction with the entertainment value of this story which is fine but they don’t seem to care whether it is real or not. I , for one , believe Bigfoot exist but it really disappoints me when such obvious nonsensical accounts are portrayed as factual encounters! No wonder so many people are nonbelievers and discount ALL encounter stories as crazy!

I wish someone that wasn’t so soft and weak would have a encounter and tell the world without fear of ridicule! So many of the people who have encounters are liars or just very weak and let’s someone else tell them they didn’t see what they seen and they just shut up about it.

Why in the world would her husband let her go out into the woods at dark and with a firearm, they know what a gun is and usually get aggressive when they see guns or take off, not a very smart husband I'm so glad it turned out safe and nothing happened to either one of them I cant see the mumma letting her baby being a sitting duck...hmmm that story is kinda iffy

I wonder what park she was talking about in Butler county? There’s quite a few around that county, but I guess it really doesn’t matter! I do know there are “BF” around that county! I had my first “siting”, I guess you could call it that?, anyway It was in 1976 coming out of Heuston Woods late one night after a long day of fishing and I didn’t see much detail but what I did see I know couldn’t have been a bear, besides there were no bears in that part of Ohio not back then anyway and “this” was on two legs, upright, and I saw the backside of it as it crossed the road. This only happened in a very few seconds, very few!! That’s about it in a nutshell Nance. Thank ya for the stories, especially the first, because it was from my stomping grounds!

It seems she did protest too much. Her husband understood, but she didn't want to believe that there was anything she would see that might make her realize that her sanity was not in question, & neither was anyone else's. She couldn't sue the Bigfoot, so she yelled at others instead of being respectful.

I think you're right, Lisa Keith. In my experience, the person yelling and being rude is really covering something else up - fear, anxiety or something, anything to stop the other person from saying something they can't deal with.
