She’s MINE dammit!!! 😆😆😆 But yeah, even the added stories outside of Ohio are really kick ass too! Some people can narrate a picture, and others sing tone deaf in a choir in comparison.
Again another good podcast.TY Nance. Hello dear story teller. A good one you r. Appreciate all your hard work and time to provide all these great podcasts. God bless
I'm from New Mexico back in 2004 was doing some construction work in the Jemez mountains on some new homes heard loud tree knocks i went to go see found a tree branch bent down it was 8ft off the ground i know because i stand 5'11 and the bad smell right there the hair on my neck stood up have never been back since.
No one should chalk things up to childhood imagination. Children, or at least this child, had great recall and mental reporting. I had to be the adult as adults around me didn’t protect or act like adults. I was my own protector and what I saw was mentally recorded. Trust yourself and your kid self.
Good stories Miguel my family on my mom side lives in the Pueblo in Taos, New Mexico you know I never asked my Uncle or Auntie if they heard or seen anything in the mountains
I'm from Michigan too. My father was from Ohio. He moved to Michigan with a few brother's many, many years ago. Still have family their. It was crazy during UofM and Ohio State football games. We have bigfoot in Michigan too. I had two encounters in Bellevue in the late 70's.
Nice job writing and narrating Miguel and Nance !! There is a lot to be said about having a buddy with you , being alone during one of these encounters really sucks !!!
A cousin of mine from Taos saw one north of Taos and it shook him up. He watched it from behind walking up a canyon while he was on the other side of the canyon. He had the wind on his side that day.
Great stories! I loved all the details this gentleman included from both his encounters, as a child and as an adult. Thanks Nance, from a faithful Sassquad member!
I am Sasss’squad and I cannot lie, you other Bigfooters can’t deny... That when a squatch sneaks in without an itty bitty trace, and ya get a screaming in your face, you get sprung... And, it petered out from there. I apologize if that gave any newbies a stroke. But, “The Sasquad” is this esoteric group I like to believe.
Oh my GOODNESS! That is wonderful! I love it! I have been trying to do "The Night Before Squatchmas" and running into road blocks. Maybe I should turn it over to you. LOL That was really good!
thank you I look forward to these stories, I try to put myself in there place and wonder what I would have done. I look forward to thr next one. Blessings and thank you both for your time. Rev. Mike
Just curious as to how Miguel retired in 2019 at age 47? Maybe he won the lottery, I don’t know. I believe in Bigfoot but I also listen closely to these stories when something doesn’t add up.
Wow an old story, but from my neck of the woods. Lots of 'bear wallows' around northern NM. But there is one just east of Taos in Pot Creek. Most of the Jemez has burned sense his story, several bad forest fires. Have heard of some resent sightings on Ute Mountain just south of the CO. border.
Miguel, I don't live very far from you and know exactly where both of your encounters occurred. I spend a lot of time up in the Jemez mountains and in the 1980s as a teen spending my summer vacations with my family in Taos, we would always hike up to Bear Wallow in the canyon via the first campground.
@@kimperes5987 pleasure meeting you here. I am a firm believer in Sasquatch and planning a couple of excursions into the high country this coming summer.
the BERNALILLO COUNTY SHERIFFS HELICOPTER chased a pair os SQUATCH along the RIO GRANDE RIVER through the outskirts of ALBUQUERQUE ,along the river down to the south valley area.thats were they lost it.will have to recheck the date.
I think, Nance, that most people experience encounters with Bigfoot/Sasquatch more often when there are only one or two people. If there's a bigger group, they are not quite so prone to do the wood knocks, although the smell may or may not be present. Encounters that I have heard while listening to you are usually found as above with only 1 or 2 people at a time, & other times people in a couple are only going to see the X's made with trees,& depending on how big the trees are makes the experience special. It makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up & generally gives you the "willies." Back to you Nance.
Lisa Keith - I wonder if it's because larger groups of humans are rarely quiet enough to have an encounter. Either they are loudly talking, lots of walking, etc and give lots of notice to anything in the area to stay hidden. Even hunters when they go out in groups tend to spread out and are very, very quiet, for obvious reasons. The one or two people out there aren't usually making a lot of noise by themselves. Just a possibility.
New Mexico is my neck of the woods ..but I've only lived in (this part) of New Mexico for the last 8 or so years. I had a strange event happen to me up in the Jemez one night. When I told the storie later I had several people tell me " you went to the Jemez at night ?? You never go to the Jemez at night !"..
Population management. Animals like bears live on small "islands" after the encroachment of man has shrunk their territory. Game and Fish biologists and other wildlife scientists tag, track and monitor population health and size. When there are too many of one species or not enough the whole echo system suffers and one way to manage is hunting licences. Hunters pay for 90% of wildlife conservation by the way and critics most often contribute 0%.
Forest Cop - I spoke with Miguel this morning on Facebook and I mentioned your comment to him so he can look for it. Thank you! (And if you have any stories or know of any that you'd like to share, I'd LOVE to get them!) Thanks for listening and commenting - Nance
It's people like that Uncle that are the problem. They put themselves in denial, aren't man enough to tell his own wife that this encounter occurred, and when his nephew tries to talk about it, he changes the subject. If more people told the TRUTH, then for one more people would be more aware the things are real and maybe the government would actually acknowledge these beings are most definitely in North American Forests. THIS DOESN'T HELP ANYONE, AND IT'S A SELFISH ACT. SPEAK THE HELL UP. DO NOT CLAM UP, TELL YOUR FAMILY.
Hi my fellow Utubers and of course ournarrator with the lovely voice who has named us sasquads. That stench which is the identity of sasquatch. I have thoughts of how they come by it. They don't stoop to defecate. They stand upright without even squatting. Therefore their waste matter must surely fall on some of their hair. They don't even wipe with leaves. They take baths but rub themselves with mud from the bottom of streams. Maybe it is a good thing that they stink like road kill skunks so that sometimes we are made aware of their presence.
What if its pheromones like apes release? As a sign of "this is my territory". The whoops and knocks, grunts are audio warnings. Projective throwing or standing in the open is visual.

Most likely near Gallegos Peak near Little Rio Grande.
Hello I heard the screaming and had trees being broken in the Jemez in 2007 on dirt road 376. In 2021 found tracks in same area
