Well here’s the thing, top gear shouldn’t have been touched again. Chris’ pieces with Neil that he puts out every now and again, completely shit on his top gear pieces. I do hope he’s being well compensated by bbc BUT I wish he just stayed on the internet and the BBC just killed top gear. @@LiamConlanBeyondSabotage Yep it is a classic and as a now 52 year old passed my driving test in 1986 in the middle of what was the most exciting period ever in the car world - just wish I still had my XR2 or Cavalier SRi.

Woow! What a Car Collection. Thanks for the walk around and great narration! Each one is a show piece. This is why we love Cars!!! Love my Mini Cooper S!!!
Indeed what will this do value-wise as these cars will only be able to be driven on a private circuit, due to 2028 legislation and Low Emission Zones, etc...
Exactly. These are machines engineered to deliver the ultimate driving pleasure, but their potential is not being used. To use an analogy - what is a musical instrument good for, if it isn't being played?
It's not like I can afford to have a parked Porsche or a driven one but I totally agree. Porsches for me look better used, the beauty of the new or low milage ones is their potencial to be driven and enjoyed, unfortunately like a lot of great things these days their value susperceeds their owners desire to drive them and they end up falling into the investement catagory. I always think, If we were all able to look into the far future we would see that all these cars will one day ceast to exist so why not use and enjoy them whilst you can? Although in England these days driving on public roads is torture so I probably wouldn't use them either....
Thing is, once a car has got to a certain age without accruing many miles, nobody is then brave enough to drive it. Like owning an unopened vintage wine, who is going to be the one to buy it and actually drink it?!
That's a couple of 'collections' on CC lately - would be nice to know the background - is there a 'Mr Leonard' and why is he selling or has he died etc. Doesn't need detailed info, just some context for the sale would be good
You know when he made the remark about how thin the rear windshield is by closing the door of the gt3rs 4.0.. No one is better than chris harris PERIOD.
I struggle to think of anything I like more in the "car genre" than videos of this chap looking at car collections. There's another one - arguably even better where he looks at BMWs etc. If you're of a certain age, it doesn't get better than this.
3:30 Who ever gonna drive this car in the future please have a look at the front left break disc. Cracks between holes are kind of "ok" but if the cracks starts from the inner to one of the middle holes, I would suggest to get a set of new discs. In general: what a stunning Collection! Thank you for showing us this!
Simply put Harris - The Man As most have said, this could've been a much longer video and would I have watched every bit of it...... Of course I would!
This. It defeats the entire point of having the car - a superior driving experience. If you want to buy something and not use it... get a Picasso. And not the Citreon car...
Not really, I would never buy a car to not fully enjoy it but I also couldn't care less if other do or don't. Actually pretty stunning to see new 30 yo cars.
@@MrFloridadaz yeah but it sucks that rich people use limited edition cars to speculate. They take away other peoples dreams because their financial advisor told them is a good investment. Manufacturers should keep an eye on who buys their special editions.

A delivery mileage 964 Carrera RS? Excuse me? As sad as that is, I certainly have to give praise to the man who had such astonishing levels of self control! You sir, are a pillar of restraint!
The trick is to have another to put the miles. I know a guy with 3 delivery miles carrera gt and has 2 cgts with over 100k km. One has to edge the losses 😅
He’s selling - and no quarrel there.....hope they all make a bundle.....but there’s a subtle difference between when he’s full out selling vs just geeking out. When it’s the latter, it’s when Chris Harris is at his very best. And when he’s at his best - for my money - there’s no one better!
When you own 50 cars, how many miles can you do in each ? And how many do you have to move to get to the one you want ? My questions is this ... with interest rates so low, is the cash really worth more than these cars ?
Chris Harris looking at car collections in a shed is my favourite RUclips sub-genre.
Completely agree.
