It's unsettling when you see Murtaugh play the villain. A ruthless villain at that. Damn good actor when he or she molds the character into everything a good person despises. Danny Glover always plays a good antagonist.
Hahaha what's even funnier is how that crooked cop thought he was going to keep on living even if he succeeded in killing Swagger. When you get yourself involved in a conspiracy and you're NOT one of the originators, you're as good as dead. It's always a bad job to take.
@jeff lockaby listen to older "when i paint my masterpiece" n new. Like a year before his death "poor old dirt farmer" that album he goes back to his southern roots big time
Matt Ward adrenaline is a hell of a drug... while yeah it’s unrealistic there are stories of people in combat being able to live through and continue fighting similar and worse wounds
He isn't actually using the whipped cream, he is inhaling the compressed gas in the whipped cream can (if I remember correctly it is a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen) to knock himself out.
Saddest part of this movie is when Ned Beaty as the Senator from Montana actually is convincing that "people in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 love us...because by killing 400 innocent villagers they don't have to worry about Losing limps for being from the wrong tribe"...this movie 🎥 pleased everyone in one way or another.
Lol. He’s a pawn in the game. The people at the top pulling strings are the ones you need to know the most. There’s puppets and there’s the people pulling the strings.
Wind...trig problem 🙄 on the run...basically Wahlberg's words are distorted on the technical issues...movie 🎥 is similar to Jack Recher.tom cruise..both parts played by 5 foot 6 inch pretty boy 👦 models portraying massive recon killing machines.
Wind. Except, the only issue at that range is that the round would not have gone through his head like that. The arc would have been enough that it would have entered around his scalp line, blown the back of his entire head completely apart, and exited somewhere in his neck, or even back, blowing that apart as well.
ANESTHETIC? In this movie he appears to use cans of "whipped cream" as ananesthetic to knock himself out so the girl can remove a bullet & stitch his wound. I've been looking for any form of anesthetic that is "homemade" or also easily accessible. From just a local anesthetic that allows sewing up small injuries up to the level of Propofol, knocking someone out to remove a bullet or other major surgery. Any ideas, let me know please. Thanks. Peace.
@@octoniumvideos *_no. 7yrs on & I still haven't found anything stronger than a local anesthetic & heavy alcohol. So I just pray I never have to have surgery or perform it._*
It's revealed later on in the film that he was from the village that the Colonel massacred, which Swagger provided sniper support for the soldiers escape before he and his spotter being left to die with no extraction. He was gonna use this speech to tell his story about Americans genociding tribes to build a pipeline and name some names involved like the senator
LOL, yeah I knew he didnt actually use whipped cream itself. Mention of the "cans" was meant to be a quick memory jog for those of us who've seen the movie. Glad you remembered though & yes, I'm sure you're correct about contents, though havent personally looked it up. Besides stocking up Whipped Cream, LOL, question still remains: What ELSE can be used for such anesthetic purposes that is easily/cheaply obtained? I know a place that sells small pre-filled bottles of diferent compressed gases.
This movie was excellent except the end. Like how did Mark get the rifle and white suit to camouflage in the mountains? Also the final scene Mark just stomps a house with few bodyguard and the senator. I also didn't like the driving scene at very end, it feels lazy and unwritten, like they met a deadline or something.
Wrong target...lol! This movie is about POLITICS, and if you study this movie depicts corruption on many levels... FBI, POLICE FORCE, CONGRESSIONAL WRONGDOING, etc... "Shooter" is a terrific example of influencing more corruption in politics,....
The thing that made my friend laugh was the "Ethiopian archbishop" being "Generic African Man".... They called not at all to get anything right. Had a non Ethiopian name was played by a non Ethiopian actor and had was the wrong religion Catholic instead of Orthodox.
The one thing that I’ve never been able to understand about this movie is the whole reason for it. Like seriously why did they find this guy who was an apparently at one point a US military sniper and just randomly decide that he was going to be the fall guy for some kind of weird operation? I also find it very unusual that even though the individuals of the end of the movie didn’t have the authority to actually arrest the character played by Danny Glover, the simple fact that they became aware of his actions in Africa pretty much denotes that some kind of thing should have taken place with them. I just don’t get it.
Good time to rewatch this movie with the assassination attempt today.
The parallels between this scene and what happened the other day are undeniable.
Those people who were killed in the crowd was the target?
@@ajnorth4393just how the movie miss the president and hit a different unintended target.

I immediately thought of this movie and how it’s a set up for sure. I was like I bet they will say it’s a lone shooter story too…. Wildddd

yup
Yes
Someone just copied it😅
Yeh cuz they always show us in the movies what they are about to do.
Literally “shot for shot” remake lol
You'd think a trained sniper would be able to hear movement around him as they all of a sudden disappeared from the room.
Sounds going off everywhere. Even all of that was going on he was still confused. Different scenarios… different outcomes..
This movie is a hidden gem 💎
I got an ad for "shooter" the show before this 😂
U still with us?
RUclips is watching you….
Gets shot three times, fall through not one but TWO rooftops and he's able to just limp it off...

I'm on a Danny Glover binge watch right now
After seeing this movie, it reminded me when Danny Glover played a corrupted police detective in "Witness".
Yeah he plays a good villain, crazy how that movie is 22 years older than this is.
Don't mess with Marines
this aged like fine wine. 💀
This is exactly what happened to Lee Harvey Oswald.
I loved the Mayor in this, stellar performance, Chic!!

Mark is hard to kill
Fun fact: This video was posted on my 26th birthday.
That's what you get with an in town shooter.
Next time the bad guys should just bribe a cop with a better shot.
I unsnapped too soon...so sue me...Officer Stanley Timmons...aka Dallas Police officer Tibbetts.
A local cop who was a better shot likely would never have accepted the job.
Why. Would they shoot him?
Because they wanted to use him as a scapegoat like how they did Lee Harvey Oswald. It seems like this scene was inspired by the assassination of JFK.
