I just wanna say, you’ve helped me so much. I also started late, only 3 years ago I was in CanSkate at 9 years old. Because I started late and all the other girls my level started when they were toddlers, I always feel like I’m not good enough or that I should just quit. I also speed skate, so for the 2 years I did both, I hated it all. So there were many times I’d cry before and after a session, I just didn’t want to be there where I felt so terrible about myself. At my first competition, I got bronze on everything. I wasn’t ready to do a solo, I just started learning all the jumps in it. My showcase was botched due to me feeling uncomfortable and out of place after seeing how well the other girls skated. Now that I’ve discovered you, it’s inspired me to keep skating into my fourth year, even though I wanted to quit. Seeing you being open about your falls or how your learning process goes, I don’t feel as bad about the fact I’m still learning while others have moved on. Thank you so much 💗💗💗
hi! im not looking for any feedback or tips as i do take lessons with coaches. my coach is the one who taught me to do these combinations and had me try them with her in lessons, so I think it’s probably fine for me to work on them since she asked me to…lol😂
@@sofiafigureskatesoh then u you do it lol! Sorry if it also seemed a bit rude! I read it back and it didn’t seem like a really nice comment to be honest- Sorry and I love your channel ❤
I started skating at 14 a year ago and I thought I was like the only one who started pretty late but then I found your channel and now I'm inspired by your progress! Thank youuu 🫶
Yeah, we do that in training as well. But it’s good, it forces you to leave your [left] free foot and [left] shoulder+arm in front while landing the previous jump
Almost ready to start figure skating!!I have a few more milestones before I can be done with adult beginner! So glad I found your channel! Super inspiring, thanks!
Make sure you sal cow and loop aren't spinning around, make sure you have a hook, bend you knees and the jump out off you toe forward, not spinning around forward then jumping 😊
I feel like other people might have said this, (i got to doubles, flip was my favourite and i did if from mowhawk) but a few tips for loops, keep your front foot on the ground push off that to get more lift, your doing so well I'm currently living through your skating cause I can't skating anymore from spinal issues :(
I have been doing skating for a year and I have a hack for a loop try going forward step on right if righty left if lefty and keep opposite foot in the air then do a three turn and just do a full rotation in the air then there a loop jump
Just a tip when your doing your loop! It’s an edge jump like the salchow so you should be taking of from your outsides edges rather than your toe pick. hope this helps ^^
@@lilyrvse if you look up triple loop slow motion, you’ll see they rotate half of the loop. I’ve been doing double loops for years and I’ve always rotated half of it on the ice. I’ve never encountered a problem with it because that’s how you’re supposed to do it. Do matter where I go everyone rotates half of the jump in the ice
@@I.d.K.w.H.a.T.tO.p.U.t.He.R.e u can even look it up that’s the proper technic for a loop and I’m not talking abt doubles or triples so idk why ur bringing that into it
@@lilyrvse im sure different rinks have different techniques. Mine just happens to be the half turn. I’ve never encountered a problem with it even at international competitions. It could be that you’re supposed to do a quarter but people just do half. Like for axel, we’re supposed to take off at the front but everyone does a quarter more. Because even the Russians do half of their turn on the ice
I know you said you weren’t looking for any feedback but from another figure skater you’ve got to just go for it at some points you seem like you’re holding back and you need to just go full out
You've inspired so many of my new skaters to keep skating! ❤❤

Figure skating is so elegant, I’ve been watching you for a while and seeing you improve in every video is always incredible! ❤️
thank you so much!!❤️
I’m here for this! Everyone has too start from somewhere and it’s inspiring how determined you are ☮️ & ❤
Try to make sure you have a solid fully rotated loop before putting it in combinations! ❤

Thank you for showing your journey! You've helped me realize how far I've come!!!
I would suggest having both of your feet on the ice with ur free leg crossed over when starting the first loop.😊
*Im Also Training In Loops!*
Sameee I’m training in triple loops too
I'm a senior skater, and your progress is amazing. I'm proud of you
aw tysm!!!
Girl u just inspired me to not quit skating and keep going
Don't be discouraged with your loop+ loop it took me forever to consistently land it
My coach always forced us to add loops onto everything 😂😂😂
I did very horribly lol
Same , but I think they do that so that we focus on the loop and not overthink the jump you’re doing
I like loops they’re easier when they’re doubles. The double loop was one of my first doubles

Ur so good how do I trust the ice so we’ll I could never 😭 new sub ❤
Amazing! Keep it up❤❤❤
I go to the same rink!
I wanna iceskate toooo
You’re doing great! Just try to remember to cross your foot over while in the air on your loop :)
The loop should have the free leg crossed over the standing leg
Wish this was my talent❤

I also hurt my back for a while. I hope you’re doing good though. Fun fact Flip is also my favorite double. It’s also my favorite triple too 😅

Man your out here trying loop loops and good laybacks, I'm here trying double loops and i suck at laybacks lol੧😭੧
as a fellow figure skater myself i luv watching ur vids💖 also i have a question, what star are you in? i’m in 3! if i can land my axle i’ll be in 4
I like salchow + toe loop jumps better
My toxic trait is thinking I could do this 😂
My toxic trait is thinking I could go to the Olympics. I’ve been skating for 5 years and I’ve only got my double axel 😅 (working on triples)

Wow I really want to Ice skate but I don’t think I’m allowed.... But still this video needs more likes!!!!
I can only do the walz one😢
Never knew that's how u spell it it though it was stow cow lol also have u been to garner polar ice house I think I saw it in one of ur vids
Ur loop looks great but ur rotating half of it on the ice don’t forget to jump earlier! ❤
That’s what you’re supposed to do on loops 😅 you also have to rotate half of double and triple loops on the ice 😊

As my coach says, "come on you csn jump higher than that"
I hate waltz jumps tho
i can do a waltz+loop and im 12…
And?
I’m the same age, I’m working on my triples
Straighten out that free leg quicker!
You should jump higher 😊
I love ur progress😙😍🥰
Not Olympics worthy but still good to see someone working on what they love 👏
I hate Waltz jumps
