It makes me sad that his owners wanted that beautiful coat all shaved. Even the head! And the tail! It doesn’t take much effort to brush your dog. You groom so beautifully! I enjoy watching you -it’s very soothing, for some reason. 🤗
Hello, another great job! I'm glad you re spoke about the owners request to shave her double coated dog. It's difficult to comply with a request sometimes, but we are paid by the owners to do what they ask.! He looks so nice!
Another great video. My wife and I watch his videos every day. We particularly like his later videos where his girl friend is helping him. She has a great way with the dogs, is a great helper, and adds a great presence to the show.
You did a really nice job on this little guy. It’s just a shame that the owner wanted him shaved down. 👍. His tail looked like a little worm when you were doing the second shave. So cute
Moi j ai une pekinoise elle n a jamais fait de noeuds ni rien car on la brosse tous les jours c est vraiment ridicule pour moi pauvre petite bête je la plaint.
Pekingese traditionally have that lovely fluffy coat. If it's groomed properly to begin with the 'owners' would never have to resort to a full shave. The owner apparently knew nothing about the breed except that he was a cute little fluff ball, but were too lazy to provide the proper care. Easier to get rid of the fur, head to toe, than to take responsibility for the dogs grooming and upkeep.
Exactly. Better to get a pug or other short coated breed then. Instead of buying a “cute fluffy” dog just to realize it needs brushing and maintenance. Plenty of options out there…
You have to check on “My Favorite Groomer” on RUclips. They have what is called a up stand to keep the dogs from sitting down. They are a little pricey but they will save you from having to hold the dogs up and keep lifting them up. You will get less tired and you can work faster and take more clients and make more money. Just a suggestion for you.
I watch My Favorite Groomer as well. She does a great job. The Up Stand she uses would be very beneficial to every groomer. I hope he checks into one of these.
WoW this little guy is like sheering sheep 😲 .. hope this was done during summer and not winter when everyone needs a nice warm coat 😛 haha! Nice job and such a good boy too 🕊❤️
Mmy Rosie would not be that calm. She's afraid of sound so I use scissors. Does the job and it takes 3 days. Live in rural area there are no groomers available 30 miles or more
Yeah and they will just let it all go until it’s in the same awful shape and then drop the dog off again in poor shape matted with neglected nails. Some People are clueless. I had so many clients like that at the vet where I work. They were even informed on how bad this is for the pets health and stress level and to please brush every now and then, as matting and low shaving with severe thick fur will take time and heat clippers up in no time (meaning often cooling spray won’t even work and clippers will need to be rotated every few minutes to properly cool down to not cause burns when coming too close to the pets skin). 😢sad.
I keep thinking about how you said that you are not the best groomer in your town. Given your past work, and the way you are with the dog's you shouldn't put yourself down. You are really good at what you do , look at what you do, even here. You have talent 👏 you're going to go far!
You can have the butt side of an electric toothbrush and give a few treats while its off, then turn it on and off to buzz in the air and give treat, and repeat a bunch of times until you see that omg this is easy peasy face then you hold it closer a moment without the buzz and reward but remember to move it away before you give treats. When the moving closer in the off position is no biggie you can do a quick buzz when its held closer and treat. Pay attention to the face because if it goes from "heck yes" to "heck no" you are advancing too fast and it could help to take a break to let the stress level cool back down. When you can quick buzz it near the dog you can if its safe touch it in a yes area where the dog might grow to like the massage in the more advanced stages. Keep doing babysteps, advance very very slowly, and grow the comfort zone what the dog is willing to accept. It helps to tire out the dog before each training session too. If you don't feel confident try to hire a trainer that is well versed in positive reinforcement and counter conditioning. I had a pekingese that had food aggression when he moved in but with counter conditioning he could eat with another dog in the room despite being blind and could even leave food in the bowl when he felt full and never guarded anything anymore. It's possible to change how the dog feels about it.
I wish my little Pekingese would be so still during grooming. She hates the towel, the brush and comb and the nail cutting! She just hates grooming! It's a nightmare, although she is getting somewhat better but not much.
Thumbs up for groomer. Thumbs down for owners. Why have a Peke if you don't want to mess with long hair? I have 3 and they take time. This little guy was a sweet heart putting up with hours of what had to of been torture.
U did wonderful job and he's so an adorable dog! 🐕 I noticed you always loved dogs and u always care of matted/neglected dogs to get good care of grooming and took them to Vet to get nurture, vaccines and etc. U are a very sweetest man who loves dogs so much!!! 👍🏻🙂
I love watching you groom. You are very calm and gentle.
Bless your heart for triming those long nails as soon as you saw them. You show in every video how much you care about the dogs
Enjoy watching you so much...another awesome groom.....
Thanks again!
He was such a good boy and great job again!
Such a sweet little face and lovely nature.

His hind legs seemed weak. I wonder if he has hip problems. Beautiful little dog and your groom was terrific.

Omg, this dog is so cute! If I had a Pekingese I'd want him cut just like this. He is absolutely adorable and you did a WONDERFUL job!
Thank you
Why get a long-haired dog just to turn around and cut it all off? Makes no sense.
Another great video. My wife and I watch his videos every day. We particularly like his later videos where his girl friend is helping him. She has a great way with the dogs, is a great helper, and adds a great presence to the show.

Thanks 👍
Wow that was a boat load of hair! You did a fantastic job as always and again I am thankful for my short haired chihuahua 💕🐕💕
He’s so cute! It was amazing how much matted hair was left to cut after his bath...you helped him feel so much better👍👏🥳
Moi j ai une pekinoise elle n a jamais fait de noeuds ni rien car on la brosse tous les jours c est vraiment ridicule pour moi pauvre petite bête je la plaint.
He is so handsome and sweet! And yes the dog is cute and sweet too. 😂 Perfection as always. ❤️
Really impressed with your work and I have decided to reintroduce my pekingnese to clippers

Exactly! And the nails! 😢 Horrendous
Great job! I really enjoy watching your grooming!!
Thank you!! 😊
Wow great job!!!!!!! I have a Pekingese and keep him short as well..so cute
What a sweetie! No wonder he does not like to stand with nails like those! Another fabulous grooming job!
What a good dog he knows whay you are doing and hes patient
I have shaved my pekingese, he is normal coloured.. now he looks like a skinny pug. X)
Qué hermoso y bueno este perrito 🐶!! Gracias Damjan 👏👏👏
W o w! Thick, thick hair!
Bravo ce pékinois est trop mignon 👏👏 vous êtes doué 👍
Çok güzel görünüyor, ellerinize sağlık
I believe this pup may be a Japanese Chin. I have two and he is the image of mine. They are precious little ones!
When I was doing my BellaRaes paw pads I accidentally nicked the inside of one and felt so bad I about went into tears 😢.
Shih Tzus have a double coat that is why they are hard to shave.

My pekingese never gets matted. I can't imagine how they get matted, I never comb or brush him. Of course, he goes to his groomer regularly.
These fur babies are not supposed to be shaved. They just need baths and brushed.
Amazing 😉 nice 👍
That looked like a difficult groom as the dog was too limp.
Took off more hair than dog. And is his coat oilly? It looks damp under what you're cutting. He is such a good boy.
Try that with my Peke and you'd have lost a few fingers! Either way, they are always adorable.
😢💔
I have 5 pekangeses and apparently you must not shave their coat so short?
Пекинесов нельзя стричь по росту волос... Это запрещено
These people do not wash or brush there dogs and that’s cruel 🥺
Exactly. How easy is it to brush them daily.
And the nails! Overgrown nails can cause extreme discomfort and pain no wonder the poor dog tries to sit no not stand.
In this video, the clippers are really loud and rattling. Your voice is getting drownwd out by the clippers.
Mmy Rosie would not be that calm. She's afraid of sound so I use scissors. Does the job and it takes 3 days. Live in rural area there are no groomers available 30 miles or more
porque tem que pelar o bichinho assim :não vi pulga nem carrapato
True Pekingese lovers do not shave them like this! Shame on the owner of the poor peke.
Sorry Pekingese
Poor dog
Is a Peke really have to bé shaved like that. Just get a pug instead.
But sometimes really foolish comments during the grooming.
this pekingese isnt all matted at all why clip all his tail bare and head terrible i dont like
Bad filming
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
My 94 yr old mom loves how you groom. She says you do such a PERFECT cut each time 💖
The owner wanted his fur cut way to short. I feel sorry for the dog because of the owner.

any advice for owners with a reactive pekingese dog who gets matted areas behind the ears and on hind legs?

Another great job grooming. 👏
Question: I'm new to your channel, do you show the bathing process?
Shame,why do his face?😢

The groomer seems to be overly rough with the poor little dog!

Esta loco! como le va a cortar el pelo a un Pekines y menos que menos la cola. El pelo y la cola del Pekines es lo mas hermoso .
You did a great job

What a wonderful little boy‼️ As always …Great 👍 job‼️Stay safe & well❣️😷
He looks so much better!!! Good job! He is beautiful!
What a great job! You are an absolute perfectionist! So thorough and so caring with each and EVERY dog you groom.
You are so calm and gentle , I love to watch your videos , they relax and de stress me.🙂
Such a beautiful temperament
Her tail was too pretty to shave off and not matted should have left it on
What a beautiful dog and so well behaved!
