I just seent your video. The scratches on the inside card pockets is because the finished side Shell Codovan is abrasive against itself. That is why you see Ashland reverse the interior card pockets on their custom work. The outside won't get that abrasive look since it is not finished shell rubbing finished shell.

Good review! Ended up convincing me to follow through on a vertical bugs moran in color 8. I’m glad I did some research before spending maybe 2-3x more on some mass produced luxury wallet.

In my opinion, shell cordovan tends to give off a musty leather smell.........I happen to love that smell. 😂😂😂
