For some reason when I imagine Nietzsche losing his mind in Turin and embracing the horse, it's drawn by Campbell in the From Hell style.
That was 1889.
It's not to be overstated in terms of portents that more decided to incorporate the charac. ter the elephant man as a stand-in for Ganesh. Not only is he a gatekeeper, he is also a remover of obstacles,. You might have also hit on an interesting point regarding the Wire. It's one of the few television shows that Alan has come on record as being very impressed by, and the idea that his ego was stroked perhaps mildly may or may not play into that
this is all really fascinating thanks for sharing! i just finished reading "from hell" (my first graphic novel) and these chapters in particular reminded me of "chinatown" and "seven" "true detective" etc.
The fact that you guys mentioned Homicide from David Simon took this video to a whole nother level for me
He wasnt saying the note was bullshit but signaling that his orders were from the queen, because in the note it mentions multiple murders as she knows more than one will occur.
It is very subtle. I had to read that part over several times to piece it together.
I love these videos you guys do!
I’m curious if anyone has seen the From Hell MASTER EDITION? I love the b/w of the original but am wondering if the colors add or subtract from the mood.
My paperback is old and I will eventually want a nice replacement.
I just read the Master Edition because it's what they had at the library LOL. Watching these videos, I think the B&W looks nicer because the linework is so much more dynamic. IDK grass is always greener though, right?
Hmm interesting.
