The front ensemble music at 3:48 is from Avon 2013, "Avon Ink." The funny thing about that is that three of the guys in the pit this year were in that show.
Jason Schladweiler At the beginning of the show, there is a sample that says "please welcome...", a mashup of a few schools such as Avon. I also know two of those three guys personally and they said it's Avon based.
My bad, I don't know anyone in the ensemble and I most certainly don't know any of the designers. I think you're right. Rhythm X definitely based that section of the show on an Avon show.
Is it mandatory nowadays for drum lines to roll your head back and forth when you play? They never used to do it. Now your can't find a drum line, except scv, that doesn't have at least 3 people just rolling their heads around like their neck's broke.
@@aidancunningham1448 wow i had no idea avon was the only group in this whole entire world to have played that and no other group played that piece 7 years prior
I don't know. I'm not impressed with any group this year. It's like every odd year, its the year to just throw something on the floor. And I don't know if it's the audio, but something's aren't being played together. Idk...
It's not the audio, some things are just dirty. It's also almost exactly two months before finals, so I would say this is pretty close to the clarity of most groups around this time every year
Luke Bowar bass 1 is Jessica Oyer from Goshen High school, she was center snare and basically was good everything from marimba to snare, and now Rhythm X? she's amazing
I feel like this show is great music wise but the concept just doesn't pop to me whatsoever. Like watching these super slow visuals I just don't feel like I want to watch it, something my grandpa would enjoy
Damn son. The dynamics of broken city with the meat of pulse!
dabicsta with more dirt than both combined.
Tick Caller you really shouldn't be asserting that rhythm x is not as good as those groups that is blastphemous
Nick Niehaus watch the vids
Broken city is cleaner but the book is also 10x more simple than this.
Alex Frank wrong.
Mclovin is a kickass snare drummer
If I ever marched Rhythm X, I would definitely get a "Watch Out" tattoo on my forearm, incase I ever forget the hypest vocal ever
Ralph Parker or hoo ha hey
Ralph Parker do you even know what show that's from
2013?
Yep, 2013. You should march X just for that vocal!
what did Ben do at 6:55?
What is it about Rythym X that attracts so many Bluecoats? haha 4 Bluecoats, 1 of them being a Blue Devil as well.
Bloo Eagle most likely location
Bloo Eagle Exactly😆😆😆
Both in Ohio and both are good
The staff
It's 5
Lol truck driver just walking by nonchalantly while they're throwing notes
one thing i dont get is mike and the tenor with the white glasses were both 2015 age outs. how are they doing the 2017 show
That brush technique gets me going
3:11 OUTSIDER IN THE FORM! TRIGGERED!
super clever quad writing @2:34 :o
Shawn Tran it’s so hard to tell who’s actually playing. Especially if you’re not a quad player hahaha
The quad player with the beard in the flannel marched my indoor in 2015
4:34, I was fully expecting the middle finger.
Anyone know ow many ageouts are on the snareline?

The inspiration for using that piece of music is more likely RCC 2006...

I feel like that a very sarcastic comment and you actually work with X or something.
They clean this year! Love it!
Tsumuri are you deaf?
Mo there were more parts that were clean than parts that were dirty
6:40 how the fuck
Green Wood mike has got some FAYYYYYYESSSSST hands, y's in fayst stressed
he must have had a controlled seizure
Tyrell Wiggems Then do it
Green Wood it's a controlled muscle spasm. I do it a lot for fun when I'm just messing around on snare
no way my school is using Palladio in our show too
music of Karl Jenkins?
They r good at the drums
Blue Knights 2014 for a drumline show, yea?
Brandon Winschel they used the one section for a phrase geez lmao
Very promising.
this must be the first time X has marched an 8-man snareline in years
We started with 9 last year and added the 10th around November
woops i forgot bout '14 lel but considering that they had 11 in '15 and 10 last season...
Jason Schladweiler was there a specific reason for adding a 10th snare?
He wanted to march and he was fuckin good haha
Oh shit, I thought Mike aged out last year?
LIEUTEN4NTDAN He did not
thank you for the acute observation, david
Nate Klump I guess this might be his equivalent of a "bonus year" in wgi. I figured that typically, you would age out of wgi a season after dci.
MY BOY RYAN ELLIS CENTER SNARE
honestly best sounding group in wgi in my opinion better than pulse and rcc this music is so good
Writing is lit.
do they not have uniforms
Zachary Rhodes are you stupid
Zachary Rhodes you don't wear god damn spandex on concrete
0:13 I see what you doin Maxwell

3:48 someone please transcribe the front ensemble part for that
XxEpic_MemxX the front ensemble part at that part is Avon 2013, "Avon Ink."
Its ok I transcribed it so no one else has to
its pretty cool
@@aidancunningham1448 wow i had no idea avon was the only group in this whole entire world to have played that and no other group played that piece 7 years prior
I hear some BK 2014 there
Крейг Айзекс This bitch ass clearly doesn't understand. Get the fuck out of my mentions.
Tyrell Wiggems right. Who the fuck is this guy 😂😂
Крейг Айзекс I just want you to know that that comment made zero fucking sense. Get the fuck out of my mentions.

Jason Schladweiler Understandable. I mean y'all are professionals. You guys know what you're doing.
Jason Schladweiler or in X 2016's case, finals
rcc looks interesting so far tho. and mcm is pure hype tho
Ben Jamming there all not very good at drumming. Pulse is though Broken City too
Is rhythm x only for guys or does it just end up happening that way
Luke Bowar bass 1 is Jessica Oyer from Goshen High school, she was center snare and basically was good everything from marimba to snare, and now Rhythm X? she's amazing
I marched with her back in high school. She's great.
I feel like this show is great music wise but the concept just doesn't pop to me whatsoever. Like watching these super slow visuals I just don't feel like I want to watch it, something my grandpa would enjoy
Why oh my god?
How have you not aged out yet? lol
He aged out last year, he just simply recorded the lot lol
Caleb Link Yep, confused him with another current member lmao
RCC 2006
How the fuck do you memorize something like this? Please answer!!
7:24 Hey buddy, you forget which foot goes back? (second snare from the left)
Burkinator don't be that guy.
dirt
got em
Too much of this is not good.
It's 2 months before Dayton... give it another month. Considering how early season it is, it's pretty good.
Cole Scott that's one theory, or it just pretty bad for a lot of it...
Tick Caller it's Rhythm X, as much as I hate their style, they're definitely really fucking good.
Nate G or nah
Just curious, what is Rhythm X's style?
