I picked up a few point and shoot film cameras during lockdown and narrowly missed out on a Yashica T3 on eBay. But, I did get hold of a Leica Mini ii, a Contax T2 and a Minolta P’s (panoramic) cameras which have been so fun to shoot. Sometimes it’s nice to just go out with a point and shoot camera and capture what you see just as you described here 👍📷
Nice video Eva! I also have a Yashica T3 and also ran a roll of Kodak Ultramax 400. My pictures seem ok but not as sharp as I expected, also just like I see on your pictures they seem a little under exposed. I just acquired an Olympus Stylus epic zoom 80 and ran a roll of Lomography neg Color 100 and the pictures came out looking far superior than the Yashica T3. I wish the Yashica would at least give you control of the ASA (ISO). I really like all your videos, keep up the good work.

Yes it is true that this yashica is a bit limiting when it comes to choose settings, but I do love how easy is to just load and shoot, and the fast autofocus! I’ve never used another point and shoot as automatic as this one so can’t compare with the metering, although other semi-automatics like the Konica c35 EF and the lomo lc-a have given me nice exposures. Btw we also love to use the lomo neg 100, and 400, to put in our point-and-shoots. Take care!

Sweet collection! The T3 is definitely so far our favorite automatic camera, but always open to test new ones and compare ☺️☺️
