Had a dream one year prior to linking with my husband. Dreamed I was getting married. I could not see the man’s face. I laughed. I said God it is going to have to be you. After 33 years my husband was looking for me. Too much to write… we connected, and We were married two months after that. God told me during my prayer time. He is your husband. God told him also that is your wife. I said Lord, you will have to tell him if he is my husband. Well, he did but the kicker is when I was 17 years old my mother told me when he walked through the door. That is your husband. I laughed at her. Life happened-
This is the kind of communication/confirmation I want in the next relationship leading to marriage. It may scare me a bit the way God confirms things, but if I am asking God to confirm things to me, I am expecting God to do just that!
It will scare you. My husband was so sincere, emotionally vulnerable and intentional that I wanted to run in the opposite direction because it scared me. My bestie convinced me to do it anyway. I’m glad that I did.

The #1 key this generation doesn't get is resilience. They will leave a job if they don't like and will cut if the best men off for one small misunderstanding/mistake instead of talking it out. I love this couple's journey; what I get from this episode is that we surrender to God's will. It's very hard to surrender to God's will, but I am learning to listen to God's way quicker than I used to because I don't want any delays; I want all of what God has for me.

Latteras, I went through something too where the man told me that the holy spirit told him, I was the one. However, his character didn't align, we dated for 11 months and had a wedding 💍 set, he had a deposit on the ring. But, his actions didn't align with who Jesus is. He was not honest, he needed healing, and so did I. But, I sayyyy all that to say, I'm glad we didn't go through with the marriage. I love this story soooo much 🩷! Powerful. I think this is my most favourite episode ever! What a story of hearing from God, and responding obediently. Knowing that it is God ordained helps to make the difficult times bearable. Even after hurt and challenges, he still knows that she's the one.

This is an episode that I definitely needed. For someone who know who their spouse is and has heard the voice of God several times, this has somewhat put things in perspective and also to continue to trust God. Our walk with the lord is never easy but committing to the assignment the Lord has given us is the most important out of anything we will ever do
The #1 key this generation doesn't get is resilience. They will leave a job if they don't like and will cut if the best men off for one small misunderstanding/mistake instead of talking it out. The generations before us had real resiliency and that's just facts. If we had the resillency we had now back then we would still be in civil rights movement.lol. Shout out to the ancestors and predecessors.

Latteras, I went through something too where the man told me that the holy spirit told him, I was the one. However, his character didn't align, we dated for 11 months and had a wedding 💍 set, he had a deposit on the ring. But, his actions didn't align with who Jesus is. He was not honest, he needed healing, and so did I. But, I sayyyy all that to say, I'm glad we didn't go through with the marriage. I love this story soooo much 🩷!
